I think for this style/size plucker you need to cut the shanks off before tossing it in. Every video of people trying to do a turkey in these pluckers they get stuck, and they all have the shanks and feet on… I’ll find out myself in a few months, my Superhandy plucker is coming today

I finally coughed up the money for a yard bird, any other equipment for 3 turkeys was out of the question. Great to know this works for a small batch. Also it's great to see the kiddos learning to respect their food and know where it comes frome! Good stuff

Cut the feet off and scald holding the tail feathers before plucking remove the wings and tail feathers by hand your pluck will be more efficient then
