Hello everyone, my name is Kathy and I am a married mother and grandmother. I have 3 children and 4 grandchildren. I also have a passion for paper crafts and enjoy making vintage junk journals and mini albums as well as shabby chic fabric and lace books. Creating for me is an essentiaI part of who I am. It really feeds my heart and soul. I adore vintage fabrics as well as vintage laces and embellishments. I also have a love of antiques and searching for that special treasure. Watching tutorials on new methods and ways to enhance my creations is another past time of mine. I receive daily inspiration by so many creative people and love their willingness to share what they know.
Altered File Folder Xmas, Memory Books,
Hi everyone, I created a beautiful altered file folder with a Christmas theme. It was constructed with a typical folder, stitched on the sides and then embellished with a gorgeous lace pocket. The background of the folder shows off some book pages, song sheets and a vintage santa.
Inside the front pocket I've included a mini journal, an altered guest check, a flip pocket and an altered glassine bag which has two papers inside: a letter from Santa and the words to the Twelve Days of Christmas.
On the inside of the folder you will find a merchandise bag with a Christmas-themed journal. The journal has lots of images, stitching, embellishments and so much more.
This would make a great gift for someone. Add your own special touches to make it even more special.
