Nothing special here. Just an average person that speedruns and does what I enjoy. ;) (With that said, do not except consistent uploads of anything)
But if you really want to know something:
- I started my music making journey in Littlebigplanet 2 on 2018. I mostly use Rytmik Ultimate (And have been using it since 7/13/2020), but I soon might transfer over to FL studio when I'm ready.
- I hope to one day learn how to be a game dev so I can make games. I have 2 major games that I'd really want to make. I have been developing these games in my head for a total of over 8 years!
As for what I plan to do with this channel... I don't know honestly... Guess I might wait until I'm ready.

This run was pretty good. Sub 1:40 is possible if I can get the Corazon quick kill, but I need to first see if I can get the quick kill with only 3 attack potions. Jump potions aren't necessarily needed for this level considering you're mostly just in the air and going out of bounds

If Serpentine puts his guard up, you lose time. In the context of a speedrun, he appears to throw his guard up when you take one of his bars and are a set distance from him or if you take 2 bars from him in quick secession. He needs to throw up his guard after the first hit, otherwise you won't be able to charge up the dash and get 3 hits in during his laser attack. The second guard doesn't see...

Sub 25 is really nice. Took my old strat and reworked it heavily. Also didn't get bad RNG with the kunai and also clutched up the end, so yeah. Probably not running unrestricted Nalao Lake as Lilac because the new meta is annoyingly boring. If I come back, it's only because I want to be that kind of person. So long as I can keep getting away with not needing to uppercut dragon boost at the part before the 30FPS clip, I will continue to have interest running this stupid level. Merga final phase videos are always fun to watch. Still one of the developers best decision to make the Merga phases separately available.
It's really nice they did that since each phase is practically their own boss fight (and also because otherwise, you'd just have 2 full Merga levels to beat lol), but they need to fix Battlesphere Lilith because her fight does not behave correctly. I should also go grind the other phases so I can try and snatch the IL WR for the Merga fight
Damn, 3 consecutive videos of beating Aaa.
Y'know, I just realized that lmao. I wasn't thinking about Astral Gomech
Literally Clown Man
See you in your dreams
Yo Geeky!

I'm debating between which of the 3 is the Battlesphere's most cancer member: Herald, Acrabelle, or Lemon Bread. Everybody has their own annoying quirk about them that I absolutely hate lol
Milla is really good at pretending to do something. Carol being amazing yet again.
Can't wait to see what Lilac can do when I try this level as Neera
I love Captain Kalaw and his fight (kinda makes me want a Smash Bros like Freedom Planet spinoff game) but that rubber band mechanic is something only villains would do.
You're right about that rubber band mechanic being a villain specific move because Serpentine can also do that crap in Nalao Lake. It's not funny but at the same time it is.

I fucking love how you just. Risked your run and got the vinyl. Also the rant was funny too, makes your vids stand out when compared to other Rainbow S vids
@@likoq.deadcall5219 I actually need the vinyls, so I figured I'd grab them during my runs, and when I do I try hard to complete the run lol. I also like adding the text whenever I have something to say
This is speedrun, bro!
I do that a lot, so I really benefit from it in the context of not getting hit
the amount of changed sfx is giving me a dopamine rush lmao, figured carol's kicks woud be great for the flying fists but i didn't think it would be that good of a boost
This' 7 months of pure but strange dedication. When I was streaming my Lilac rainbow S attempts on the GT discord, someone there referred to it as a games repainted, and that makes it even more funny. The speed from the drop kick is surprisingly powerful against the fists, and that was very convenient for me considering I randomly decided to speedrun. You just need space so you can get the speed from the drop kick
I'm honestly impressed, I consider Neera the toughest character to play, and here you are Rainbow S-ing the toughest part of the game as her! Spent most of my time Rainbow S-ing her final phase as Lilac just Dragon Boosting and hoping for the best (as my 121 attempts (yes, I counted) can testify), your reflexes are on point with Neera though! By the way, I do have a consistent setup for dodging the first part of the kunai attack that doesn't rely on those risky maneuvers. Simply stay on one of the corners while Merga is setting up the attack, and the game sets up the attack so it only comes from the left/right and the vertical directions in alternating order. Thus, you can easily get in a loop of parrying the vertical one, jumping over the horizontal one, and so on and so forth until the kunai spiral happens. After learning that (which took about a couple hours and staying up late), I was able to (somewhat) consistently do most of the final phase, and it didn't take that many more attempts before I beat the whole six-phase shebang (was using the Battlesphere rematch as practice.)
Speedrunning and rainbow S-ing the game made me learn a lot about Neera. Merga honestly wasn't that difficult to me. She took me around 2 hours, and I could have easily beat her in 1 but on 2 separate runs I died to the final phase to the usual kunai. I'm one to say the actual levels and certain battlesphere arenas are much harder. The longest levels for me was both Bakunawa Rush and Clockwork Arboretum, both taking 2 hours. The longest I've ever spent rainbow S-ing, exlcuding the boss divisions, was Mecha Madness which took me 4 straight hours. As for the kunai strat, I actually learned that out myself and applied it to my Neera guardless, boss division 2, and Potion Seller runs (all of which have videos and their own respective playlists - minus division 2 which is apart of the "True Damageless All Rainbow S" playlist for Neera. I also made a video several months ago showcasing the strat as every character. The strat I do here is practically my "beta" version of what I end up doing in my Neera guardless run. The idea was to just move in a circle pattern, only parrying if a kunai spawned either inside or close to Neera. I've gotten good at the guardless strat that I can comfortably stand in the center and apply that strat to dodge the kunai from all 3 directions.
@@Supersonic6427 Yeah, admittedly, Mecha Madness... not sure how you're supposed to do that without relying on shield damage-boosts. A patch added a shield near the beginning, and I had to resort to Shield Potions anyways; I didn't have to do so for most of my other Rainbow S runs (the Boss Divisions being exceptions). Cool idea in concept, execution-wise it falls flat due to the giant hitbox and tiny enemies making it hard to deal with.
@@noizihonni8191 Mecha Madness does have a consistent strategy for each round (very specifically rounds 5 and 6), it just requires (a lot of) trial and error. It is possible shieldless, you just need the sanity for it. To me, Mecha Madness is unironically harder than Merga.
The Shadow Master boss theme sold me. Take my like.

Tiger Falls reminds me of the second stage in Rocket Knight mainly because of its waterfall gimmick and Rosebud. I had to use it lol, and I probably should have used the midboss theme again for Rosebud

Also, epic shout out to not letting Lilac get the final kill this time ;D
Those SE 😂
I just realized this' the older version of this fight with modded sound effects. I'm probably going to nerf some of them when I get to doing Lilac rainbow Ss just because they either have bad mixing or don't mesh well when certain events happen like "Gnawsa's rocks, multiple explosions, etc."
GOOD LORD!!
Been a bit since I've seen this. Need to come back and grind 27 since that's the current WR
Really nice, especially that early finisher at 3:28! I guess version 1.2.3 was buggy cause I never got Carol's and Merga's assists on my runs, that would've definitely helped me finish the second phase earlier (especially at the Brevon part). You've also left at least 12 seconds in the stage part before the boss, so I'd say even sub 3:45 could be possible (?). I might retry it... And don't feel bad about that death, that attack was the run-killer for me too, those hitboxes are very tight there XD Hope you had your sleep after this ;)
Yo, appreciate you watching the video! I think sub 4 should still be possible on 1.2.3 and below. Even though Carol helps and Merga to an extent (though she's kind of annoying), Lilac is still capable of draining a full bar with an uppercut cyclone into a dragon boost, so that should work out. That phase 2 strat can be annoying to pull off in a no hit run, but it's pretty consistent to pull off. This run into the boss was bad. My best pace ever had a 2:08, and I remember also getting a 0:58 3rd to last checkpoint. Idk if a time that low without at least potions is possible. The only way for it to work would be to get the fast phase 2 strat where you get Syntax to phase 2 before she starts flying. And yeah, I did get sleep that day lol. I immediately stopped playing after. With Lilac's speedrunning tech, you could also try looking into Bakunawa Rush since iirc, you didn't get the half par time there
Goofy battle
I was waiting for this moment, and aside from the lag spikes, this lived up to what I wanted lol

Awesome!! Nice work! I can smell the adrenaline from here.
Final phase in particular always gets me, and it's specifically because of the first 7 sets of 3 kunai. I also got really terrified at 5:05 because my original plan was to have Merga swing at the barrier which will despawn the vertical projectiles she fires, but I forgot the barriers don't despawn unless you restart at checkpoint, so i thought I was fucked. And then right after that mess I had to quickly prepare myself to dodge kunai. Oh, and the final hit was nerve-wracking because I didn't know you're invincible after killing Merga, so I was focused on getting out of the way.

Love me some Freedom Planet content, Jesus loves uoh bro, God bless :)
Freedom Planet content is good!
I was wondering if anyone would even try to beat boss rush 2 without taking damage especially because of Merga and Bakunawa Fusion at the end. Simply amazing.
The weird thing about division 2 is despite being 20+ minutes long, the bosses are rather easy. There are a few choke points such as Kalaw, Gnawsa, Askal, Lemon Bread, and Astral Gomech, but for the most part everything is pretty chill but LONG. Merga honestly didn't scare me much aside from Blue moon, what would have been super moon if I didn't dodge the blades the way I do, Lilith because the battlesphere version oddly works differently, and final because nerves. At 23:28, I actually fucked up the movement for dodging the blades which seriously threw me off on top of my nerves. BF is pretty much an autoscroller to me, so it's just enduring everything for 3 minutes. I do plan at some point to actually try playing both division 1 and 2 back-to-back because this was a challenge someone post some months ago on the GalaxyTrail discord. I think I'm more than capable of doing it.
It seems to me that this is a record, it can't be faster.
This' an older run. My best time is 4:41.03. I have a video of that on my channel and it's WR by a second, but it could be a lot faster if I got good Gnawsa rng
Because you're a speedrunner, I suppose you already know this, but Lemon Bread's chewing can't kill you, yes it drains your regular health, yes it removes one shield health point at a time, but when you have no health it does nothing. And the game doesn't register it as taking damage, you can still get a no hit bonus. Furthermore, LB's attack cycle resets when he catches you. Though, I guess this is too cheesy and unfair for this challenge.
Yeah, I know Lemon Bread's bite attack cannot kill you, but I'm going for a true no hit run, and since Lemon Bread's bite attack drains your health or shield points, I consider it taking damage and will restart. I'm not even sure if that's intentional. Oddly enough, Merga's special attack during Eclipse where she jumps offscreen and tries to inflict a critical hit cannot kill you. Oh and a little fact: In the case of a speedrun, it's actually faster not to let Lemon Bread bite you because you waste around a second letting him do so.
Oh, right, has this lap 5 skip always been a thing?
I don't remember if it exists in 1.0.0, but it does exist as far back as 1.2.3. I have a rainbow S video and a speedrun where I do it on 1.2.3
At 3:02 I would have had a heart attack from these camping shade troopers
I actually wasn't even bothered too much by them lol. I was more concerned about the shell growth dropping a missile on me
Huh, I thought the water shield crystal that usually spawns right at the start of the level will be replaced with a bomb, but it's just not there anymore. Also this strat for the boss is kinda funny, as if devs knew someone is going to use these capsules behind breakable blocks for a hitless run.
The bomb is there, I was holding right so it looks like the bomb's not there lol. The balls are pretty useful for fighting the boss, but when you cannot guard, you have to strategically use them. The last thing you want is to get out the ball and immediately die to lasers and bullets. I tried to use those balls during my normal rainbow S run but didn't due to framerate issues.
I knew enemies frozen midair could act as a platform, but I never thought it is actually used in speedruns to save time. It's really satisfying to watch, haha
This level is still a puzzle, even while speedrunning. The difference is that when speedrunning, you have to solve unintentional puzzles in creative ways.
Ok, at this point I want to know, why do you sometimes restart from checkpoint before the bosses?
I only do it for certain boss. In the case of Kalaw, I do it because I wasn't face towards the right when the fight starts, and I didn't want to risk turning right and mess up Kalaw's movement, increasing the risk of him just hitting me. Restarting faces Neera to the right, positioning me correctly. Later I learned the other benefit for restarting was it delays Kalaw before the fight starts, allowing me to be greedy and get a few hits before he starts moving. TL;DR - Consistency reasons
LOL WHAT? Did Serpentine really just tank you at the start of the video? How did THAT happen, I wonder.
Serpentine has this stupid mechanic where if you are far away from him, when he attacks he gets a speed boost to get closer to you. I'm pretty certain this mechanic also exists during the Wolf Armor fight when serpentine does the swipe attack. That was not a fun death lol and I tried to correct that in the run after (hence why I dash at 3:06). Now see, I was pissed when this happened, but watching it now it's rather funny, but only because I'm not playing the level. Dude just decided to speedrun killing me.
If I died to this attack during a hitless run, it would scar me for life, lol
@@lunaticludwig8311 Better start taking notes then ;D
huh, i was just thinking about how you'd approach the bomb spam but i suppose the answer was straight up just "go slow" lol. excited to see how you handle inversion dynamo
I wasn't going to risk going fast on this level specifically because of the missiles. The best thing I've learned while playing this was figuring out how to preserve your speed when the cutscene triggers. I don't think Zulon Jungle Part 2 (aka Inversion Dynamo, but we all know it's just Zulon Jungle's sequel) shouldn't be that bad, especially since I've gotten much better at the game and have a decent idea on the level design. The only difficulty is just figuring out how to get through sections without the guard, otherwise I should be fine unless I keep making stupid mistakes. I'm a little more excited for Ancestral Forge, but only because I'm addicted to playing it lol.
3:43 TEAM WORK!
That was one of the wholesome moments of Neera and Askal before the betrayal
Dude, this deserves way more views! This is genuinely impressive! Very well done!
Thanks. This record was annoying to get, and I'm probably done with this level for now.
half a second away from WR already, you got this
Already took it by 21 milliseconds. Not proud of it though
it's kinda funny our times between checkpoints become similar after the second one, might mean the second half could still be improved the most, though i feel it will take a bit before the next breakthrough at this time
I honestly don't see the similarities, mostly because there's a 3 second difference in our runs (I'm comparing against your 1:27 btw since I'm assuming that's still your most recent), but for a fact the second half still has some improvements for what can be done.
gg~
Thanks. Likely not touching this level for a bit until someone gets too close to the record, but I'm probably gonna aim for 1:22 or 1:23. Don't know if I wanna grind out 1:20 or 1:21. Sub 1:20 sounds really nice though.
