Big Fish Steals My Speargun!
This Big New Zealand Snapper almost stole my speargun after I let go of my reel gun. A fortunate series of events meant I took the snapper home to eat and regained my speargun!

Hi mate- I'm coming over to NZ end of this year start of next year from Australia and wanting to do some diving. Would you be keen to tee something up?
Hey mate - I probably won’t be in the country as I will be in Asia round that time. Join the NZ spearfishing Facebook page and someone should take you out. Good luck!
@@michaelbakker7501 legend mate!
Drummer are actually really good eating too bro. Kiwis tend to overlook them but there's absolutely nothing wrong with their flesh.
Great vid.
Too cool. You must be so proud of that fish. Ka pai

do u know if there are any dog friendly campings during summer holidays in coromandel region
Tairua Campground
Good video! Beautiful weather! We been to Alderman island last Friday, it was not so good.
Thanks man! Unusual for it not to be good, you must go again in some good weather!
Rest in peace, fish used for burley
What do u mean
This is why I cant pull the trigger on goat fish anymore... Its like a clear little family haha
did you clean up that line ?
There’s a terrible amount of tackle on that spot unfortunately and could’ve spent the hole dive cleaning it up without much of a place to put it. If I’m there with my boat I’d be picking it up as I go for sure. Spearfishing means I don’t add to that issue
Good video
Cheers
Cool video
Cheers!
Mean vids! How’d you cook the porae bro?
Thanks Jay I just bread crumbed it with S&P
hey mate nice video, what gun did you use in this video
Cheers man, it’s a custom Rob Allen roller gun 100
mint bro
I like a lot, #1 fan, I liked and subscribed down the bottom 👇
I know guys a haven’t forgotten 😂
Hi what size gun are you using?
100cm roller
Aww...c'mon bro show us the end product of your smoked fish lol
Great shot on the Kingi bud would've been awesome watching you fillet it in to steaks to the end, anyway and just out of curiosity don't you gut your fish in the water straight after you've bled them they'll last longer that way especially if they're not put on ice right after a dive. But all in all great vids keep up the good work. 👌
Not when there’s a bronzie on my tail otherwise I would have, but they went into the garden anyway. Cheers for the feedback!
@@michaelbakker7501yeah true that because Bronzies are after your catch and not you and are not known to attack humans but your catch can still be gutted quickly if you had a float boat to go straight in to instead of a net or gut them in the boat before putting them on ice well that's how me and my husband do it so that the fillets stay white and fresh. You've got great vids though we'll done.
Nice vids but can you make them longer 👍
very nice shoot!!
