Just off shore at the Hayling Island Ferry point a large concrete structure serves an ominous reminder to part of Hayling Island's role in World War Two. First attempt at editing a video, no Stephen Spielberg, over exposed in some areas, a bit jittery in others due to mismatch of shutter speed to frame rate. I'll get there eventually.

Beautiful sunset shots. Interesting to think that those yachts moored either side of the road bridge are actually a world apart, and would have to sail all the way round Hayling Island to get to the other moorings…
Sadly, most people would look blank at the mention of a Mulberry harbour structure. Possibly, even D-Day itself…

Have been over there many times since childhood back in 1960's it's a lovely spot the pub if you want good company and nice food.
