This is all a bit of a muddle which could be confusing to some.
Can these labels only be made on the 990? How about 790+?
Yes to both
What’s all the tapping noise? 🫤seems to have stopped at 3:35 or so.
They were probably doing something with the mic. Sorry.
Wish i could pop in . Im in Indiana. Looks really fun ❤
@@PSA3377 hope you can get here one day.
Very interesting. It looks like fun.
I would like to go to India with you next year. But I will be in Spain hiking during those dates. So will have to do it maybe the next year. Love the idea of doing the textile multi media trips just about anywhere.
This is right up my alley. This reminds me so much of all the small towns walking along the Camino. It’s n Spain. I loved them. And my thing is Freeform fiber and paper arts. Love multi media. I would love to do a trip like this. Just found your shop and followed links from there to you tube.
@@jackiehorn3724 we’re going again next September so why not join us?
@@ArtisticArtifacts I may. I am planning another Camino trip. I guess I could go on your trip , ship my stuff from your trip home since I don’t want to carry it on my back walking the Camino. Other option is there is a service at the end of the Camino. You can have a piece of luggage transported there and pick it up at the end of your walk. So I could leave directly from your trip and fly to France. Take a train to st Jean pied de port France which would be my starting point before walking over the pyranees mountains into Spain. Hmm. This sounds doable. Let me think on it a bit. Plus. I think it would not add on much to air fare at all. I don’t think it will cost much to get from Italy to France. And I could take a couple of days in Paris if I wanted to. I have never been to Paris. A friend did some vintage fabric shopping there at a flea market. What she brought back was ultra fantastic!!
@@jackiehorn3724 sounds like you have talked yourself into it!
Phenomenal
Excellent video, love the stripology ruler 😀
@@Pip7-px3wq thank you for watching & the feedback. It’s obvious that we love ours as well!
I have two lanthanides stitching quilt! I love them and price is reasonable!!
Found you! I'm excited to see how the binding is done.
Great tutorial! These are all beautiful!
When do you use misty fuse?
Misty Fuse is a double sided fusible without paper. I use misty fuse when the fabric is larger pieces. it makes it easier to cut to smaller pieces.
Thank you for making and posting this! I've watched it 3x for different inspirations. It's a wonderful guide and I'm sure I'll be watching it again soon. ❤
@@CatDeMeow thank you for letting us know!
Fire!
I like this!
The painting demo starts at 12:20 minutes.
hi , can you piece and sew for dress making on this too? thank you very much
@@missj6923 this is not for piecing.
@@ArtisticArtifactsthank you for your reply! do you know of any sit down long arm machines that you can piece on? or is everyone just using 2 machines?
@@missj6923 most folks we know use two machines.
@@ArtisticArtifacts that's helpful to know, thank you very much!
Thankyou! Very nice project for this curve foot.
On your sample you allow your stitches to show, do you allow them to show on a quilt, too?
I do let the stitches show on the back - not the front. -Judy
I’m from Florida close to Gainesville and I’m a Gator fan to. That’s what caught my eye with runner🐊🐊🐊🐊
Wow, absolutely loved the video in landscape mode this time thank you 😃 You do a wonderful job, the only issue was the sound went a bit unclear after the camera turn around happened, otherwise it was great 🌺 Love seeing anything Bernina as well ❤️
What a shame it was only filmed at 480p as the video is quite blurry otherwise it would have been enjoyable to watch
Sorry about the quality. We used same settings so not sure how this happened.
I’ve never seen a quilter do backstitching on their chained pieces. 🤔
I’m actually traveling to Indonesia this fall so this is very informative. Would you share the name of your guides, I’m hoping to find someone to do a one day tour in Jakarta to look at batiks. Thanks!
I would recommend contacting Taufik 6281339615389 - he is the one who arranged our guides throughout the whole tour.- Judy
Can I use this on soaps?? So I need a printer??
Ugly fabrics, they put me off watching .
Sorry you were not interested.
Is there a pattern available for the rice bag? I love it
The pattern is the Modern Japanese Rice Pouch at artisticartifacts.com/products/modern-japanese-rice-pouch-komebukuro-pattern-by-kzstevens
Loved watching you apply this new product. I recently purchased some of these paints and you have revealed interesting ways to use it. Thank you. I have purchased several items from this store. Totally enjoy the creative variety available.
Thank you so much for your feedback and your support
I would ie a tutorial on the Rick rack table runner. Can't find one.
Love your dress!!!!
A great find in India on last creative retreat
I love your scarf/necklace - do you have a tutorial for making that?
I think she just knit chiffon silk ribbon on large needles & did some drop stitches. No pattern.
Just want to say I have enjoyed this video sooo much. I am an elder from East Coast Canada and for some reason, in my 73rd year, I am enthused with creativeness. Just out of the blue. Air Dry Clay, acrylic painting, wood making, cardboard transformations, fabric weaving, jute weaving, dowel geometrics and the list seems endless. Always, always, had a fetish about paper. Any kind, any shape, color, texture. I've been on youtube videos since Christmas learning new techniques, manners of using all kinds of things and I am in heaven :) Watching your video felt like i'm coming home to paper. Thank you for your tireless work and teachings to us beginners. Your patience and detail is massively appreciated. I guess I am responding to the creative gene within as we are all Creators.
Oh your post reminds us of why we do these weekly videos! If you are on Facebook we would love to have you share your creations in our Artistic Artifacts Creative Minds FB group.
Recently received an order of paper ephemera, etc. Thoroughly enjoying this video. Look forward to experimenting.
Thanks for ordering and make sure to let us see what you create on our Artistic Artifacts Creative Minds group on FB
Could barely hear you and expect more about the ruler.
Wrong side!!!! Nothing to do with glue not being dry!
Is there a video or youtube for making Fabric Paper? I make silk fusion... but would like to see instructions for Fabric Paper. Thank you.
See our other videos for this month as we did one on fabric paper.
Also what methods do you use to do the backings and hanging process in your wall hanging?
Hi Artistic Artifacts: I love all your projects, especially Christ in a Vinh's colorful handcrafted projects. Where can I find most of projects? Do Artistic Artifacts offer any virtual classes? If yes, where can I locate and review class description so that I may consider taking classes? Cordially, Linda
The flower one screams hair for a face quilt
OMG. I just watched your informational video and loved it! i understand all to well about being unable to travel to shows to teach your wonderful techniques for using textiles as art. they are truly beautiful. i did not hear if you handyed your fabrics and doilies yourself. i hope you come to california one day to teach a workshop here. Or if you ever set up a zoom workshop i would be happy to join in (at an affordable fee). thanks again for a great video.
Judy does hand dye her trims, fabrics and lace and sells them as Inspiration Packs in a variety of color ways on our website.
I just love the blue Lutrador piece. When you using the Intense to add color to the photos could you use a water soluble colourant like Neocolor II or regular watercolor pencils?
Yes you can use almost anything, because the Transfer Artist Paper is trapping the color
I discovered your channel a few days ago and my family thinks I've disappeared. The only way they know I'm around is the fact that the hope chest and suitcases where I store all my fabric and fiber supplies have covered the family room floor as I inventory them to see what I have on hand and decide what project I should try first. Keep up these exciting videos, I am disabled and don't leave home much so you are my connection to an exciting world.
Thank you for your kind words. I am so glad that you have joined the Artistic Artifacts community! Judy
Voted! 🎉❤
Thank you so much!
Would love to know about the ring your wearing on your right hand😊
Hi Judy, Thank you for this informative video! I was wondering though, your beading stitches show on the back of the quilt. Do you have any videos that show how to bead a finished quilt without stitching showing on the back? Thank you!
For beading not to show on the back, we often do the beading of the top and then finish the quilt with an 'envelope' method so the knots and threads don't show on the back. hope that helps
I was wondering if Golden GAC 900 would be usable, I've found it very good at keeping silks soft unlike the other Golden Mediums. I have a large supply so was hoping it might be a good substitution for your product. By the way I am so thrilled with finding you channel and store. I have been looking for such a great resource since I used my first tjanting at age 14. You will be seeing me around.
Hi Sheryl, I would definately give it a try. It is not a product I have in my tool box. Let us know how it goes! Another silk demo coming up this month. thank you Judy
I’m currently working with Australian First Nations fabric to make a quilt. My goal is to respect First Nations culture by using quilting blocks which reflect First Nations motifs from the Aboriginal community we lived in during the 1980s. I’m in the early stages of planning. At this point lemonye star, chevrons, pinwheels and narrow strips on diagonal all look promising.
Thank you for the great information!
Very helpful
