That's what I always do in that fight, just kill the Khnum with only the hammer. If he tries to launch fireballs, I briefly pull out the Sirian Mutilator just to stun him.

The main timeline as simple as I can get it to be: SS4 -> Siberian Mayhem -> BFE -> TFE -> TSE Serious Sam 2 is not canon, as confirmed by CroTeam themselves. And Second Encounter is debatable whether or not it's fully canon, with events like how the ship crashes. I heard too that Siberian Mayhem's in it's own timeline, but I'm not too sure about that.
