do you have a video for drilling the carpeted ply walls on without damaging the carpet glued on the ply ? (I tried on a rough piece of carpet but the screw pulled all the carpet when drilling)

I have just about watched all of your Vivaro van videos and I can't begin to describe how helpful they have been to me. Although I'm not making a camper van ( just need a bed and room for my MX bike) your videos have led me to fully sound deaden, insulate and fit a vapour barrier. I have one question for you regarding the rear view camera, can It be wired in for full time use rather than just reversing? Keep up the good work and I like how you explain your work in layman's terms.

Hopefully this will inspire first timers like myself to have the confidence to have a go, there’s a wealth of information out there to help especially from this channel as Nigel has comprehensive videos for all stages of the build and are a huge asset to anyone starting out … they really helped me and gave me the confidence to continue with the build…. Would be nice to know if the tracker is waterproof or at least splash proof, so I could clip one to the dogs collar when out camping or long walks for extra piece of mind. but seems a good bit of kit

What can I say, my good mate Nigel “bikers tale” strikes again… just short of two years ago when I had an idea Nigel gave me some help and inspiration, since then we have become good friends and speak on a regular basis. Due to work commitments myself the conversion has taken longer but there was never any rush to complete. The entire back apart from the units has been made from kitchen end panels, routed and edges with knock on trim…. (previous kitchen and bathroom fitting has its advantages). Without. While I could do the majority of the build myself when it came to 12v electrics I didn’t have a clue… Greg Virgoe helped with the cable choices and fortunately for me Nigel could not resist Welsh hospitality and locally sourced bacon and eggs and ventured down to help me get the installation under way. Thanks again Nigel, you’ve been a great inspiration to many like myself keep the faith … 👍🏼

Hi pal I've watch nearly all your videos on TH-cam. Great advice but I'm a bit stuck on something. I have a lwb vivaro and I'm going to insulate it tomorrow. I have recycled insulation for the bottom half and the pullers etc. I have 4 sheets of 25mm kingspan in my garage. Would it be OK to use that on the roof and the top panels? I know I can use it on the floor,but is it to thin for the walls. I also have a roll of foil for the vapour barrier so that's all good.👍

I was wondering how to finish this off on my Nissan Primastar. I have seen some people scribe a trim to hide the gap which looked good to be fair but after seeing what you have done, hands down this Is the best way of doing It. And whats even better Is I only found your channel last night so you have just saved my bacon!!!

On the 2 central pillars that stick out. What did you do to cover all the holes. Can't see any evidence of them being under your stretch carpet. I'm doing Renault trafic 2019 lwb. I know it's slightly di9to yours. But imagine the pillars are the same.

Hi, how long are the benches and what length of bed did you manage? I have a 2015 model and it has a bulge in the body work that limits the width of the bed to around 3ft, if I bring the bed in to the van to avoid the bulge the length of the bed is only around 160cm, any advice would be really useful, great videos btw 👍

Loving you videos. I too have a Vivaro. Not nearly as fancy as you setup yet! Quick question. Do you also run a split charge system from the alternator? I cannot find any wiring diagrams online that show this and solar together. Next question. How long will the battery last with just solar power? Many thanks again chap!
