I had cash and two cards and I guess it was too much and made my clip too open so this video helped a ton! Trying out the hammer method tomorrow to tighten the clip
Hi please help me, my Xenetech engraver is not working....says on the screen, APU not ready for download! APU has job loaded. How can I fix this problem. So that I can engrave a new job. Please help.
I'm thinking of participating in the 2024 Tokyo International art fair is it worth the money and effort to be involved? Did you sell any of your work or make any new contracts?
thank you
Pushing down and hammer tap helped me to tighten my clip, thanks a lot!
DO U STILL HAVE THE MACHINE
Please cut down the background noise next time you record a video. Thanks.
I keep the big bills on the outside. ($5)
I don’t know how many times I’ve put on a pair of dress shoes and jumped on top of my wallet/money clip to try and fail to tighten it. Thank you good sir, for saving me from looking like an idiot and have my wife laugh at me all the while failing miserably. Not all heroes wear capes😂.
Thanks
I almost thought 🤔 for a second the title was makeshit
Life saved
It's strange hearing a Xenetech without the vacuum attachment running.
This brings back memories. I used a Xenetech when I worked at a trophy shop, between 1998 and 2000. It was a very solid piece of software and the workhorse for the plaque engravings we did. The laser engraver was new and experimental. We used that for the marble plaques and acrylics.
I needed this for my new job. Thank You😊
Thanks for posting these!👍
My clip has a very narrow opening. It's my 'Inflation clip'
Hi there Is there any way of downloading Xenetech software , I inherited a laser but it came with no software Cheers kj
I'm having a hard time finding the software since they are out of business. Would you mind sharing a copy? I have the XOT 16x25 as well.
Great gust the instructions I was looking for
Is Xenetech still in business? I've been unable to contact them by any means for a few weeks now.
Sadly, no. IIRC, their building has been locked by the local sheriff (or some other law enforcement entity). What makes it worse is that Guy Barone (president) won’t take the steps necessary to let someone else step in and take over the business. That means that if we need parts or support, we’re SOL - at least from Xenetech. Their website has been down for a long while now, too. The only upside to the website issue is that you can use the “Wayback machine” to look at archived parts of their website. Just know that there are many things that you can’t get to from there. Fortunately, companies like QualityOne Engraving in California stocks many parts for Xenetech lasers and rotary engravers. As far as I know, no one advertises the ability to offer phone/email support on XOT products/software.
@@bobtnailer where we could get drivers and software now? I trying to find VCS in the net but no luck :(
@@eprstsrpe I’m sorry, friend…no idea. You might contact QualityOne to see if they know. Fred (the owner) is a fantastic resource for just about anything with these machines!
@@bobtnailer Thank you!
Thanks for posting! A quick way to fix the "caps lock" issue is to select the text you want to change, go to the "Text" menu and select "invert". (I have version 2.504 of the software.)
hi, how did you attach the sprinkler head and coin to the one money clip, a particular glue, epoxy or rivets?? I am trying to do this and need to make it last. Thank you.
I thought this was a joke until I got to that point of the video
Thank you!
Clips are the only way to go.
Thumbs up For Sure.
Why do we clean the medals so they look pretty?
Thanks for this video i have been trying to fix mine or even contact the manufacturer for a while now definitely made my life a whole lot easier. Thanks again
I have a piece of this. I love wearing it.
Great!!! Wonderful info.!!! So, how do I get the money and credit cards to fill the clip with?
Great tip! I went to a bunch of jewellers, shoe repairers etc. And no one could fix it and all it took was a hammer
Is there a way to fix a cracked silver money clip ? Cracked at the bend thank you
Put the clip on the outside 1/3 of the money. Then fold the money. This way you flip it open and can pull bills out rather than fumbling with them.
Awesome tip. Seems to take mere seconds to tighten up money clips with a hammer butt.
Helpful tips thank you
What if you have a sterling silver money clip and you just bent it with a pair of pliers, cuz your dumb, is there any way to get it straightened out again. I️ would fold it open and try to clean it up but I’m afraid it will snap if I️ try to unfold and fold it back. Any suggestions, asking for a friend I️ definitely wouldn’t ruin a 200$ Tiffany money clip with a pair of pliers. Seriously tho help me
Thank you it worked!1
Great video
gnarly !! my grandfather had one of the ones on the left & gave it to me over 20 years ago. his was a bracelet though, not a pin. looks so badass !!!
Used a wallet my whole till i got a money clip its pretty cool i just would like some advice.. When paying is there a way i can select the money i need without fucking everything up?? Or am i meant to take the clip out entirely everytime i need cash. Help pls . Ty
coolz2334 if you would like to take it out individually... Just separately put the money in the clip
Not really, but you'll need to get creative with how you store cash in a clip. Separate cash and fold them and so on. But you shouldn't expect taking out cash and cards to be as easy as wallets. It's a trade off.

Money clips were used when all people carried were cash, no ID, no credit cards, no insurance cards, etc.
Awesome Tips! THANK YOU Devin!!
Thank you for sharing this! I have been making spoon rings for only a short time, and I've been able to expand the size but I could not figure out how to make them smaller. Some of my family/friends need them in really small sizes. Great video!
This worked incredibly well and was super easy. Thank you so much for sharing!
Thank you. Resizing was quite useful. Worried about hammering my Mont Blanc money clip though!
whats in a name? I’m worried about my Tiffany & Co
Thanks so much for this video! Just recently switched from using a wallet to a money clip and the bit about putting the cards inside cash is super helpful.
thanks
thanks- super helpful! :)(:
