HI Guys Thanks for Tuning in, I know it's been too long since my last upload but I've been busy. the bike looks a lot different because I did quit a lot modifications on it. here is the list some things I change in it: Bobber kit (Solo kit) painted slip on exhaust and wrapped headers bigger brake disk and doable piston calliper with steal breaded brake line and new rear tyre because the old one...

hey guys thanks for watching my first youtube video. subscribe to my channel if wanna see more, I'll upload more videos in comming weeks. let me know in comments what do like and don't like so I can improve my channel. Thanks FardidRyder
Sorry my friend, but I couldn't go far from 11:34. The noise of the escape of your motorcycle is very annoying, your driving skills are too bad what turns everything boring to watch. You must be more consistent and let the bike flow. But don't quit and keep riding.
Damn why so harsh
GrEAT VIDEO BUDDY! HARD TO BELIEVE THAT WAS 4 YEARS AGO! JUST BAUGHT AN '05 S40. did you have to jet your bike with that slip on or just adjust your fuel?air mixture? Also are those letters on your rear tire adhesive lettering or did you buy your tire withose big chunky looking letters? thanks for any answers or help you can give!
Lady friend bought one of the last ones in Oz. With the addition of a k & n filter, a rejet and a pipe, it performs so much better than stock! Don't just add a loud pipe, rejet it properly with a kit like 6sigma and replace stock air filter, then you'll have a great bike.
yep done all of that now. even upgrade the suspension .
Nice. Keep up the good work.

Very cool video! I wish more TH-camrs would have a long video of just riding so a person like me can see what it’s really like. Thanks.
I love riding my S40 thru the twisties, man it's not like any cruiser I've ever been on before, or sport bike, it's got perfect torque in the right places, and way more flickable than the heavier bikes. I think I have more fun on it than my R6, it's not nearly as edgy, and way more predictable. It only falls short after about 80mph, thankfully that's a rare speed to see through most of the areas I ride. I'm still trying to find that extra gear some times tho, even after all these miles ^^ riders need to try keeping each other in mirror view when riding fast, I don't know if the slower rider was in your group, but passing him was the right thing to do, lesser riders should follow more experienced one's, and keep in site for safety, and to reassure them of proper speeds. Pretty sure you have the same pipe I do also, that sounded exactly like my bike :D Thanks for the video!
P𝐫O𝕞O𝓢m
You actually did it!
What exhausts are these? Sound nice. Very throaty.
دهنت سرویس.😂 IAC بینالمللی شد
Great bike
What song is your intro song? It's cool. Bike sounds great and good roads to ride on. Excellent scenery
Nice ride mate. Beautiful countryside to ride through and no traffic, what more could ya ask for ? Get my Savage out whenever can too and cruise the back roads up here in New Mexico. No Joey's to avoid but lots off coyotes and javalinas to slid around. Thanks for the video.
you need to adjust the air jet on your s40 it detonates a lot. i have the same bike and did the adjustment. it doesn't detonate that much. cool ride though.
It's a great run with savage (^^ ♪ I also ride savage in Japan
Fire pipes
Nice
what kind of muffler you have on your s40 sounds good
Awesome vid and bike! What pipes are you running?
I can't remember TBH it was Australian company base in Queens land.
Did he stop shooting? 😂
I recently bought S40 2018 , It vibrates a lot and mirrors become blur above 80 km/h speed you got any suggestions to minimize the vibrations.
Sand in the bars
I think Suzuki should re-launch the big V-twin! These are great city bikes and better than a certain former British single made in India.... Nice vid! One little section reminded me of St. John's Wood just behind Lord's Cricket Ground in London. Best, Pete.
Fingers crossed!
This bike is single cylinder 650cc.
what exhaust are you using? sound really nice!
Sounds too loud, like my grandfather's farts
what bobber kit?
Great Job! I think you might be running lean mixture? If you pipe a bike, especially a carburetor one, you will reduce lean running and can burn your valves! You also have to re-jet the carb.
Is it original exhaust or custom?
Why is it that only beginner to intermediates post vids on TH-cam? Not the best example of riding skills. And, yes, it sounds good to you but it’s cursingly loud to bystanders, not that you GAF or care. That’s the point hey, getting attention, not riding.
Oww thanks for the input, yeah this video is beginner because I was a beginner that usually how it works if want see more skills suggest to see my other videos. and yes my bike is loud to piss people like you off. hope you enjoy rest of your day :)
It's obvious you've never had car drivers not giving way & pulling out in front of you when riding enough. .less chance of that happening if they hear you approaching.
F#ckin' dumbass..get rid of that phone!!!😜
Gotta say...love your video. I watch it repeatedly. Love the urban ride. Lots of turns, changes in speed, loads of external factors affecting the ride. I have a 2007 S40 and it’s a great bike. I try to get out and ride it about once a week, but sometimes it’s difficult here in Colorado in wintertime. Hope to get a more capable highway cruiser in the near future, but for now it’s great for cruising around town. Please show us more of Melbourne!
I just bought my first bike....2007 S40 as well, I’m absolutely in love with it!!!!
@@69mwagner Yeah, mine’s been a great bike. I’ve already put more miles on mine than it had when I bought it a year ago. Almost at 7000 miles on it now. Congrats on getting your first bike!
you should talk ...say something
Nah, he did it right.
Don't you talk........?
Hey, you still got that bike? Like your vids. Have you ridden it out of the city, say 100/110 kph? Whats it like on the open road. Thank you.
He......... doesn't........ talk
He doesn't Talk
He does not talk
Feels like someone smacking your nuts repeatedly.
I liked this video because I'm thinking of getting a S 40. I'm not sure of the riding position though...probably can get used to it from riding 40 years upright. These bikes are discontinued for 2020.
Find it very odd that you don't adjust the mirrors. 🤓🤓🤓
Bike walk around?
EatYourBroccoli 2.0 hopefully in near future 👍
Good video, looks like a nice machine. A little more commentary would be welcome. How do you like the bike? What works, what doesn't, and what are you looking to change?
Love my ‘09 S40, where you riding from, US here
best bike in my opinion. riding Melbourne Australia :)
Create more videos please, greetings from Mexico!!! And Add music
What exhaust?
love the thumper sound, i got a fishtail exhaust on my 1988 sounds pretty similar
How did you make all the controls black. The ones attached to the bars ? Thanks!
It was like that when I bought it new.
@@fardidryder9360 Ok cool
On April 7th of 2019 I brought a new 2017 S40 home, I am returning to riding after being away from it for 37 year, you know its the whole having to be responsible to the children and provide for their needs takes president over pleasure, now that my wife and I are empty nesters, its time to live a wee bit. I contemplated the S40 vs the Harley 500. I settled on the S40 because of the way it felt under me, I am not 25 and full of testosterone anymore, I'm old and fat 5'10" 220lbs and don't need or want a sport bike. At 381 lbs if I lay this bike down I can pick it back up, it has plenty of power, but isn't scary. When I rebuild my confidence I don't know if I will go for something bigger or not, I am not planning to travel across the US just around my State of Michigan or so. By the way mine is black I'm glad to hear the backfire, I thought something was wrong with mine right out of the shoot, the first day, then I also heard your belt whine when you downshifted, I thought hey, sounds like mine, come to find out it is an idiosyncrasy of these S40's.
you made the wright choice, they are a great bike, been riding for 50+ years and went back to the 650 S 40 love this bike , also got a versys x 300 witch I put some 33 liter side bags on for touring and shopping it is also a great bike. The only down side of the S 40 is the small gas tank, get on some back roads and have trouble finding gas, so have to keep a eye on where your going. Where as the Versvs X has a 17 litter tank so can get over 400 km per tank. Love bough bikes, don't need any thing bigger. Had some 800 and 1000 cc bikes but did not enjoy them as much as I do these.
Thanks for sharing, Looks like fun!
What brand pipe?
Nice vid. Only thing that annoyed me was you forgetting to turn off your indicators. This can get you into trouble. Is it because the Speedo etc is on the tank and out of view ?
mark goulding yeah that doesn’t help also I was still new to my bike so I wasn’t use to it but now doesn’t happen as much
@@fardidryder9360 all good keep up the good work
a great motorcycle….I m about to buy a 2019 …..nice vid. bR00
Thanks for the vid. What is all the clacking noise (not the thumper engine)?
:D no it's the exhust on it but because the go pro is in it's case it doesn't sound that good but in real life sound much better.
hey, still riding this bike? considering buying one off the shelf and wondering how you're getting on a year later
Gazillion NZ yeah I am. It’s been really good I made into bobber now and I’m really in love with, on top it’s reliable and really easy to work on.
I was till recently I found out my front pulley has striped the drive shaft and Peter Stevens wont cover me so I have pay half price of the bike to get it fixed. :/
@@fardidryder9360 How did that happen? Any ways to prevent that? :(
