I can do the same thing with an A.A. meeting. The more I focus my mind on its defects-late start, long drunkalogs, cigarette smoke-the worse the meeting becomes. But when I try to see what I can add to the meeting, rather than what I can get out of it, and when I focus my mind on what’s good about it, rather than what’s wrong with it, the meeting keeps getting better and better. When I focus on what’s good today, I have a good day, and when I focus on what’s bad, I have a bad day. If I focus on a problem, the problem in￾creases; if I focus on the answer, the answer increases.

The Four Horsemen

Hey y'all. Ive been sober for 13 months now. No easy task. But i have literally managed to go this long without even touching that first drink. No easy task but it's very doable. I'm just consistently going one day at a time without touching that first drink right now.

This is one of the more straight forward stories.I can relate to not even realizing in the beginning stages of addiction that there was a problem because of the slow progression.. Then BOOM, everything starts to deteriorate. Its funny how what we think we want( money, success, job security, fun times) seem so unnecessary to live a happy and satisfying life in the end. To thine own self be true. I pass😌
