David You are the best
From an old United States Marine Corps veteran. Thank you GVB, and to God in Heaven be all the glory! HALLELUJAH!!!
]love to see it all
Terrific!
WOW ~ This is so beautiful. Thank you guys. God bless you all and our service men and women, God bless our first responders and May there be peace on earth. We need more music like this and especially during these days. "LET FREEDOM RING"
In this song the great voice of David Phelps is indispensable.
OMG! This is HILARIOUS! "..whenever Christians join to worship and praise, it's safe to say..Chris wrote the song~~~~~" LOL!
Hallelujah Hallelujah. To God be the glory.
Adam Crabb sounds kind of like Guy Penrod... But I still love to hear Guy sing this song...
David Phelps is unique nobody can get his range of voice.
5:57 6:16 crazy;;;
Thank God for our freedom.🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽
David phelps🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏❤❤
You guys all understand this is a real Gospel song?

I really don't mind who is singing all I love to hear is people praising God and giving Him the glory for everything.
I liked this better with the Vocal Band at Carnage Hall and especially David's version then. There is no voice on Gods green earth like David Phelps.
Beautiful all the time !
I think the old Vocal Band. Bill Gaither, Guy Penrod, Mark Lowry and David Phelps is the best group singing this song.
I absolutely agree joshua gano.
I absolutely agree!
Yes!!!!!
Still, every vintage of the Gaither Vocal Band is stellar.
Exactly 100% agree absolutely agree with you!
Thank you for posting this. I love the version done at Carnage Hall but this one also gave me goose bumps. David is the BEST and no one can do his part like he does, with such passion in his voice.
I love this song!! My favorite is the Carnegie Hall performance. This version is nice, but pales in comparison to Carnegie Hall.
Kkkkk eu sou super fã dele tbm. Tenho inúmeros cds e dvds salvo no meu celular. Agr não vou ser hipócrita e dizer que que a voz dele é a mesma de alguns anos atrás. Ta muito fraca, muita dificuldade pra alcançar determinadas notas, isso é muito perceptível. Só se for um doente metal pra não notar isso.
Ele ainda é o melhor pra mim. Mas isso não muda o fato da voz dele está perdendo o brilho.
They should sung with the original key. This one is lowered. Phelps maybe tired.
Nehk Onecumopen This is in the key of G, and the original key was Ab; so, technically you are right. However, one half step is not much lowering. :-)
David is getting old. He said on his interview that GVB concerts overwhelms him specially with his age now. He is 50 years old now. He still can sing those notes such as D5s but not as sustained when he was on his 30s. Anyways, lowering the key of a song doesn't make it less beautiful. It is still wonderful hearing this song specially when David sings it
I love this song!!!
sensacional David Phelps!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
David still got it. great shape.
Bill admitted in an interview that after David left the GVB the first time, they never performed this song until he rejoined the group. He admitted that this was David's song. They will never perform it unless David was there to do his part. I think that is very fitting. No tenor the Vocal Band has ever had has the power to perform song properly. The version performed in Carnage Hall is the version all performances of this song will be measured by. The entire group nailed the song. Especially David. hat was an extreme;y emotional performance since it was only months after the 9/11 attacks.

Steve Warren would sing an excellent tenor part. Steve was formerly a member of The Masters Five.
That's true.
@@ivornongsiej3709 where can I find the video of that version?
@@ivornongsiej3709 David wasn’t there with wesley
Fantastic!
David Phelps The best of the all trough the ages
Gualberto Martins Yes.
This is beautiful. I've always wanted to hear the new vocal band sing this song. Thank you.
Whenever i listen to this song..think of David phelps
Wow. Takes my breath away. thanks for posting. GVB, one of my all time favorites down through the years.
WOW!! Loved it!
Why not?
Many thanks for posting this nice video. You did a great job filming far from the stage. The saddest thing about this hopeful song is that it could be sung almost every day and have some relevance to something that threatens our personal freedom, our country's freedom and the world's freedom. May God help freedom ring for all. GBU :)
Is This In Myrtle Beach?
I want to see him in concert so bad!
