Great video with good explanation. Not sure if you can produce a table at the end showing the comparison, just a suggestion.
You should really be timing in seconds and milliseconds instead of seconds and 60ths of a second.
The timer on the editing software is not able to do milliseconds. The video is 60fps. So the software is counting every frame.
Bros crosshair is an unsightly creation
It's definitely a weird cross hair, however a lot of people have been asking me for my crosshair settings.
If it works for you then who what I say
Honestly the flamethrower needs compounding damage. The longer a flame is on you the higher the damage, that way it can go toe to toe with mediums and heavy's instead of just being an anti light weapon. That way you can either scatter your damage by hitting multiple targets but doing very little damage, or focus on one target.
Nooo that would make the weapon too OP and I’m not even a light main. It’s whole purpose is it dominates in close quarters with a coordinated team. If the fight is taking place in a house and ur team is fighting with you, your team will win the fight. It’s more of a support weapon that rewards good team coordination. If you are already taking fire damage and bullet damage at the same time you lose soooo much health. Imagine a fire buff on top of that. It would be a nightmare to fight.
@@thomase.1529 But you can do the exact same with sa1216, m60, and lewis Gun. If you have any weapon that is team shooting you'll have a quick kill. The only difference right now is the flamethrower has the slowest ttk while limited to close range, a terrible combo in a game where every millisecond means a possible explosive, another gun trained on you, or them disengaging. You can even limit the ttk to still be lower overall, but the gap right now is really wide.
@@DrSleeperAgent that’s the price for a weapon that requires zero aim and crazy spread. Even melee weapons require more precision. If 2 or 3 enemies are stacked close to each other they are ALL taking damage at the same time. No other weapons do that except the grenade launchers which are also support like weapons. If they upped the TTK in any sort of dramatic way you could team wipe on your own in a lot of situations with little to no skill. That’s broken. I agree it’s a tough situation but any dramatic change or buff to the weapon will make it broken.

What are your thoughts about the 1887 when there are weapons that have a faster TTK and require less skill for medium? I see a lot of posts on Reddit regarding the weapon because it is Meta. I personally think it is a harder weapon to use compared to the rest of medium. I will say that the range feels pretty insane for a shotgun in a video game, but it is chip damage past a certain distance. Additionally, not having to ads is a plus.
The model 1887 is a very controversial weapon. Yes the range of the weapon seems a bit excessive. But it is not an easy weapon to use. You definitely have to hit your shots and it's extremely unforgiving when you miss, particularly at close range. It is definitely a counter to light players and to less skilled medium players.
@@P.MurphINCI don't think it's a counter for lights with dash and grappling hook. You need on close distance 2 shots to kill light or medium. As a medium you don't have the same mobility. In close quarters (which happens a lot) it's on a higher skill level impossible to beat the shotgun with other assault rifles, as the pump needs only two shots. You can be the best player in the world but you will still won't compete against the ttk.
Ngl I’m so torn between the fcar and the akm
In my opinion the AKM is much more beginner friendly and forgiving when you miss shots. The FCAR is a better weapon past 20 m and does more damage. The f car is less forgiving when you miss shots and harder to be consistent with because of the rate of fire.

Personally I enjoy the SH1900 because it matches my play style. I like to be up in the face of my opponent. When I played WoW I was a melee player. Ranged combat is fun but I like to be close more than ranged. I also like the V9S and the Model 1887.

throwing knives are GIGA slept on. honestly might be best light weapon
Especially being able to hold the charge shot now. It’s absolutely insane. I want a bow buff. If the knives hit for 140 why does the bow only hit 120?

@@00stentatious yeah you immediately get about 30% of the cash from the vault when you deposit. Also now in world tour you get a 100hp buff for your squad when you plug the deposit.

They don't need it, u hardly hit Headshots with it unless really close range due to inaccurate aim it has
@@manyblock4192 I feel like I hit so many headshots with them. It’s far too often that I just delete a light or medium from range with just a few billets. I use it a lot and it’s so good.

The question is a little off topic: a couple of times in the last 3 months I have come across players who hit opponents (no, not just me, of course) with all bullets from almost any distance using M11. As far as this is possible without using auto-aiming on the controller (both of these players played with the steam version of the game) and without using cheats? I noticed that you have an emerald skin for this weapon, and for some reason I decided to ask this question... 😅
Takes a bit of practice to master the recoil pattern but it can be done.

You are correct.
I occasionally see that someone is still using this weapon, but, alas - in addition to the lack of increased damage from headshots - this weapon still has a lot of disadvantages that the developers have not done literally anything about... It is still noisy, has the longest recharge of all weapons in the game, it very much "punishes" the player for any mistakes, and even if the player hit the target exactly and killed her, then as a rule - this player is then killed by someone else, corny because of [again] the long reloading time... imho - the most painful thing is that such players get from campers - they just wait until the potential victim loses some of his health, some of the bullets in the magazine (or all the bullets) and be attacked from behind (in especially cringe cases - also being attacked with a stun gun from behind).
Fun fact, famas is the strongest ar in asian server ranked now. Why? Because it has a quick burst damage in the middle-long range.
I'm curious what source you are using to verify this information.
im not in asia but ive been using the famas since it came out and it is definitely an amazing weapon. especially since, right now medium seems to be the meta, and out of the three ARs for medium, FAMAS has the shortest ttk in Medium vs Medium fights. in a FAMAS vs FCAR, or FAMAS vs AKM fight, Famas always wins if they hit their shots.
The AKM is actually faster then the Famas for Med vs Med and the FCAR is faster in Headshots.

Good vid. I would maybe make 2 others against the other 2 classes. You did the TTK test only on medium dummies, which some weapons would have a very different TTK for when compared to the other 2 classes. Still informative and well made, ESPECIALLY with the active timer being ___/00:60.

what do u think is better, pike or model?
Personally I think the model is the better pick. BUT at range engagements the Pike is the better choice. Both are harder to use than other weapons like the AKM or FCAR. You need to be able to hit your shots consistently, the model and pike are less forgiving than other options when it comes to missing your shots.
@@P.MurphINC i also think model is slightly better because im usually in more close range fights than long range, and if i am in long range, i take cover and wait for them to chase

What you're asking is how the ttk is if you are bad at aiming?
@@chong1012that would just be tedious to do and there isnt really a point in doing it. Body shot and head shot ttk times should just be used as guidelines for choosing weapons and after that it’s preference

As primarily a light player, I still very much enjoy the xp54 and I regularly swap between it and the throwing knives, which are much better now in my opinion with the quality of life buff that doesn't force you to throw your alt fire immediately. I also find that I can either be very efficient or completely out matched with the matter so I agree with your final placement in b, though I would bump the knives up a tier and, since I am terrible with it, lower the famas. Great video, I agree with other people to try and work on your audio levels!

honestly surprised that the pike's optimal TTK is the lowest of the medium's hitscan weapons, especially with how oppressive the weapon is overall right now the LH1, though, doesn't surprise me in the slightest
The range is what makes the difference, so pike will always feel better
It's the rate of fire.
That feeling when the developers were asked to do something with a sniper rifle on Light, up to its removal from the game, but in the end - we also got snipers on Mediums (relatively speaking, of course, but still ...)

@@M.Gamboa IMHO - that's the problem: the developers were asked to do something about the most long-range weapons in this game (for which there are also almost no sane weapons to answer the sniper), and now they have made a second long-range weapon. And now-instead of the game being based on a "team game"- it now has "range is meta." No matter how much I try to play "objective" with my team (it doesn't matter - with someone from the clan, or with random people), I almost constantly see players who do nothing but get everyone with these long-range weapons, playing on the principle of " if i kill - it's good, if I won't kill - I'll just retire and try to kill in 10-30 seconds again," they clearly don't care about money boxes and ATMs, platforms and so on, just a stupid attempt to fill kills, and prevent others from playing the "objective" match normally.

I’m fairly bad at the game, but when i play XP54 on Light - even when most of my bullets hit - it feels like I’m shooting a paintball gun, while m11 melts enemies. But when I play against other Lights - they melt me and my friends with XP54 just as well, if not better. Not even headshots, just bodyshots. I heard it got nerfed recently, but I know that didn’t make it unusable. What could be the reason for this? Or do I need straight headshots with it to kill enemies consistently?
That's a good question and the short answer would be it depends on the user. Of course headshots will do more damage and kill the target faster. You also have to take into account the class of the player you are shooting. Lights for example have only 150 health while mediums have 250 and heavies have 350 health. It's obviously going to take longer to kill the larger health pool. I personally do not use the XP anymore because it was nerfed after the launch of season 4. I believe the best option for a new player would be the M11. Keep in mind the m11 does not have the range of the XP.
@@P.MurphINC thanks! I often hear about the range advantage of xp, but what I noticed is that at the range m11 becomes unusable - xp doesn’t do a much better job for me either. Just a bit more chip damage

I see far more Med stacks than I do lights. Especially in Ranked.
@@P.MurphINC I play quick cash more than tournaments because I only play tournaments with actual friends but I swear I would see a whole team of lights or I would have both teammates be lights
