Currumbin creek fishing, fished from the kayak was a very hot day, water clarity was as clean as it gets I found I was spooking the flathead well before getting close managed 1 good size one and a couple of other small fish was day after full moon so water levels were very high

fished out of the kayak using 2 6lb combos one using soft plastics the other with a hardbody lure caught a few fish but nothing of decent size I still enjoyed it with the strong winds happy to be out and amongst it

Land based fishing Gold coast fished early on the incoming tide using 6 lb set ups it was a short session producing 8 fish in total losing a small handful 3 of the Flathead caught being well over legal limit unfortunately only got one of the larger ones on video. Re-watch your own video and look at your top hand. That wrist is where the power (and accuracy) comes from. You throw your hands at the cast instead of using your wrist. The top hand even comes off in many of your casts. Fix that mate. Goldy rewards accurate casting. Particularly when you start targeting Jacks and Bream. From little things big things grow.

Nice fishing My favorite story to tell was this one My friend and I went fishing in captain telling me well. This is golf of course Sandra. They just put the fish in here. There's no reason to can I try fishing for bass I'm standing next this tree. It had to be at least sixty years old The roots told it That thing grew up in water That was a natural pond They just scraped one side, put white sand on and turned it into a golf course trap. Saw pull out one of my trusty lures that I know gets them the big ones. I cast that sucker out into the middle of the water It was early spring so I knew they'd still be deep I got worm and started putting on on my ultralight for brim And I looked in it started moving a little bit. So I slowly put the ultralight down. Next thing I know it goes completely tense and starts moving and i'm jerking just right. Eleven pound lunker It came out of the water trying to split the hook My friends went crazy But he wasn't the only one This man looked like he was at least seventy years old And I hear let me see it let me see it let me see it Here comes the same year old running as fast as he can He already have the fish hold it see he was so just amazed They're all thought of the new water trap So he goes back to his friends One of them all of a sudden said dan you're gaining just turned to shit This is I know all I can think about is fishing

Very nice vid mate, good to see you caught some. I like to use floss with pillies and shrimp. Takes a bit longer b4 u r back in the water but i find it pays off in the end. Especially when pillies get a bit soft

Nice vid mate. I come down from Brisbane there sometimes and fish of the rocks where the lighthouse is. I think that's to your right. Only ever caught bream, hope to catch a tailor there soon
Nice the tailor come through now and then definitely beautiful spot for fishing love the lighthouse area never fished up off the rocks I'm going to have to walk up one day and give it a try
