I‘m playing these kummer duets for over 2 years now and never knew how beautiful they can sound. Especially with the right speed. Very very very beautiful.

Harsh, distracting sound from the male cellist. Audio not equal, perhaps, because endpin is so long and angled? Don't know, but can't listen and enjoy. The 1.5 minutes I listened, though, I could tell he won't even play softer when he should (when the lady is playing the melody line). Shame.

A lovely performance. My cello partner and I performed this just yesterday, and I think your performance is outstanding.

Bad acoustic sound. The light is ugly. Although the harpist plays a beautiful version of this opera interlude, it's sometimes plays too sharp and dry.

Very nice! A friend and I are thinking about performing this piece. Unlike your other commenter, I understand that a camera does not pick up the nuance of an instrument, especially not in a hall. I cannot judge your balance and acoustical consideration, as I am listening through a camera, not my ears. Regardless, you both played very beautifully, I will certain come back to this video.

often in cello duets I find little consideration is given to the balance between the important part and the accompanying part, as is obvious in this case, therefore I give only 3 out of 10

Great. One of Offenbach's finest cello duos. The minor key brings out an Eastern European/Judaic inflection which is unusual and distinctive in his output. This duo also has a particularly memorable slow movement. Sure wish you took the first movement repeat. The massive first movements followed by short second movements and finales is an important structural component in Offenbach's duos.
