My perfect order
beside soya sauce, what oil is that added at the end?
Yummy👍👍👍
The rice recipe is correct! Genuine chicken rice recipe & not the disgusting margerine rice! 👍 However, if you cook at home it would be even better to fry the rice with the ginger, garlic and chicken fat before transferring it to the rice cooker, add broth and salt to cook the rice fully.
Thank you for sharing! Sedaaap😋
Owner so kind. Make people feel good for sharing delicious made rice. Many people love to know but too cucumbersome to make. Will come to eat out at owner's shop. Awesome❤❤❤

Hainanese chicken rice, the most important taste is the dipping chili sauce , why he did not show how to make the chili sauce.
Ayam termasuk bahasa indonesia. Wah terima kasih atas tips dan resep nya chef. Salam dari indonesia
So the chicken is served cold?
Singaporean mandarin is so funny
This is probably the best technique in making hainanese chicken, provided you understanding chinese.

Best vid on how to cook chicken rice. The chef gave such detailed instructions. Not forgetting the host who asked so many Qs so that we can better understand the techniques.😊
Very informative! The host asked questions that I was actually asking in my head. This is the most legit recipe of hainanese I have seen. I will try it this weekend.
Amazing
Any Asian watching this will comment on the recipe and how good it is. They will probably cook this dish within a week of watching. Any white person watching this will comment on the presenting or quality of the video. They will never cook this dish and if they do it will be a disaster.
Brandy Swinger Really? I made a similar dish about a week and I'm quite white. Love to cook, you see. While I certainly don't claim to be a master Asian chef (if only...), the dish came out rather tasty, and I'm certain much is owed to using the broth the chicken was cooked in for the rice. I put lemongrass, ginger, garlic, cilantro a carrot and shallots in the water for cooking the chicken and also put sliced ginger in with the rice. Not bad for a Caucasian! Got anymore laughably absurd blanket statements, brandy...or are you simply a very silly troll, dear?
@@hyena131 well done....give your self a medal for being woke. And lemongrass??? You know that belongs in a completely different cuisine? Who cares though right...as long as you enjoyed it.
@brandy swinger Yes dear, lemongrass. Lovely stuff used extensively in various Asian cuisines, and had you made the effort to read what I said, it was "I made a similar dish." I boiled the chicken, placed it in cold water after and used the broth to cook the rice. Pay more attention, brandy! And "woke." *LOOOOOOOL!!!!* Yes, I did enjoy the dish. As did others who ate it, and maybe you too would've liked it. No more blanket statements from you, sweetie? Though in all fairness - and in hindsight - you do have a point re Asians and white people. I love to cook and make a big effort and have lost count the amount of times other white people have eaten my food and said: "Wow, this is so good, you *HAVE* to give me the recipe." No I don't as you'll never make it as you can't be bothered to make chicken carcass stock from scratch.
@@hyena131 you still havent got the point of using the word Asian so generically have you? Lemongrass is used in Thai, Malay and even Indonesian and Vietnamese cuisine but not Chinese, Japanese, Pakistani, Indian and Sri Lankan food....but heres the best bit - they are all ASIAN!!! Imagine I made a French dish, added oregano and said "lovely herb, used extensively in various European cuisines"...Anyway, keep mixing and matching like a good old whitey...just try and recognise that "Asian" is not a blanket term. And btw if you think that your use of brandy swinger is going to trigger me you will be disappointed. It's not even funny. Just a bit pathetic. Like you.
@lil' brandy swinger Any more hairs to split, dissembling thin skinned princess??? 🤣😂🤣 Keep on swinging, brandy:) But try not to be so angry, dear...
The host did well. Let’s appreciate his effort. Of course the chef explained it well too.
What is the alternative for Pandan leaf ?
@Rhea Bose You could use Thai basil of Kaffir lime leaves.
@@hyena131 thank you Hyena

Thank you from Batam island. Indonesia...
