    KoT was my gateway game into modern board games. Not a huge fan of the newer art style on the monster standees, great game though.

    Good video. I always thought that Hero Realms was just a re-skin of Star Realms (which I love for its simplicity yet fun experience) , I didn't know it added some extra layers. Now I am very curious to play it, so thank you for your well-worded description !

    Who cares about theme? Monkeys in space...Bees in space or Dinosaurs in space does not matter as long as mechanic of the game is fine. On the surface the game appear to be "dry" but remains to be seen after play. I hope I will enjoy the game.

    *A mechanic had just put new tires* on the woman's car she drove off but because of the non-stop phone conversation she was having with a freind, the mechanic could not contact the woman to tell her that he had forgotten to tighten the wheels. *I liked my own comment*

    What a wonderful video! Great production! And the games in the background organized by color. 👌👌 My favorite two-player is the latest edition of Caper:Europe. And my newest, close second, is Sky Team that just released this year. 7Wonders Duel, I SchottenTotten 2, and Air Land Sea are right up there for me.

    Does Wingspan Asia play fine using just the cards it comes with, or do you add the base cards or cards from other expansions?

    • @boardgamefeels
      @boardgamefeels 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Great question! That's what I love about it, is that you only need the cards that come with it (Wingspan Asia) and it plays great. It really basically a standalone game which is so cool to me.

    Some really good games on your list. I’ve only played two of them Wingspan and Jaipur. Other two player games I own and really enjoy are Mandala, Riftforce, of course 7 Wonders Duel. But my two absolute favourites and I can’t decide between them are Caper: Europe and Splendor Duel. Thanks very much for the video.

    My son (10) and I love playing Splendor Duel together. To him, it's his first two-player-only game, and it's the only game he can beat me sometimes. But thanks for bringing these games to me, I can't wait to buy them and play with my kid.

    Mandala is soooo good! It's the only 2p only game that sits in my top 10... possibly even top 5! Agree Jaipur is a must for any 2p collection 👍🏼 Grand Austria Hotel is my fave game at 2p and my favourite game, period.

    • @boardgamefeels
      @boardgamefeels 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes! I really feel like Grand Austria Hotel doesn't get talked about enough. The dice selection in that game is phenomenal. I will have to check out Mandala, I haven't got to play it yet!

      Great! I love Hero Realms, I wish it would get a little more love, but I understand since it was the second in the series and more of a refinement of the original. I will have to check out Silver, haven't heard of that one. Thanks!

    Great list! My go to’s for new comers are classic and pretty self explanatory. Catan, Ticket to ride, 7wonders, Sushi Go and Codenames. Others include Smash up, Betrayal at House on the Hill, Horrified, Carcassone, Dixit and Villainous. There’s so many to choose from, most game nights it takes an hour to decide on a game to play.

    Hi Charlie, Subscribed! The reason why is I like the fact that you don't seem to be doing what the other 500+ board game channels are doing with constant "Top 10 x games, top 10 y games" etc. It just becomes monotonous but I guess they do it as they have higher chance of viewcount with "list" style videos. The editing is fabulous and the number 1 rule you have which REALLY makes you stand out is "Visually see the boardgame when i'm talking about it." THIS is what makes this so good, nearly every other channel, infact I would go as far as to say all of them apart from Rodney Smith on Watch It Played doing his excellent instructional videos do NOT show the games properly, sure they show the game but they dont show it in a way where you get to feel what its like to play, and you hit this nail square on the head. Regarding this video specifically to stay on point, never played King Of Tokyo but we play as a couple and it didn't seem to appeal so much for 2 players only? Point Salad we have never tried, Sagrada as you know in another comment we didn't really like as we felt it was more of a puzzle than a game, Cubitos is 100% an excellent game, and strongly recommended to new gamers, and we are in the minority it seems where we don't rate Quacks so high now, after around 30 plays of Quacks we got fed up with it, Cubitos is VERY similar to Quacks and is a far superior game. All the very best with the channel and I look forward to seeing what you bring in the future.

    • @boardgamefeels
      @boardgamefeels 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you so so much for the kind words. It means so much. I really hope I can find that balance where I can showcase a game and how it feels, and still give a little bit of my opinion and why I like it. Thanks again!
