lip prints - NEET MDS 2022 recall question
Lip prints
The wrinkles and grooves on the labial mucosa (called sulci labiorum) form a characteristic pattern called lip prints.
The study of lip prints is referred to as Cheiloscopy.
It can be defined “as a method of identification of a person based on characteristic arrangements of lines appearing on the red part of lips or as a science dealing with lines appearing on red part of the lips”.
Two Japanese scientists Tsuchihashi and Suzuki studied the pattern of grooves on human lips, and proposed this classification in 1970.
Type 1 - Clear-cut vertical grooves that run across the entire lips
Type 1' - Similar to type 1 but that does not run across the entire lip
Type 2 - Branched groove or branched y pattern
Type 3 - Intersected grooves
Type 4 - Reticular grooves
Type 5 - Undetermined pattern, here the grooves can’t be morphologically differentiated.

hi sir Maxillery First molar missed can we expect by braces treatment To shift Second molar and third molar to First molar place?
It would be a tough job to move 2nd and 3rd molars. I guess you will have to go for anchorage from orthodontic implants.. but better consult an orthodontist, for best option

A few days ago I was eating something and my tongue hit a bubble on the floor of my mouth that I had not noticed before and I was alarmed. I was driving and couldn’t look in the mirror to see what this bubble was. It felt to my tongue like a round hard pimple. Anyway, I couldn’t wait to get a mirror because I was alarmed by this swelling so I pushed down on this round bubble a few times and it finally popped. It continues to remain painless however in the next five days I checked this spot again and it already began to fill up so I pushed down on it yet again and popped it. I hope it doesn’t continue to get bigger but I don’t want surgery as long as it remains painless. I will continue to pop it so I can steer clear of surgery.
Are uh fyn now?
Kya abhi bhi he
Great video, tiny mistake though. The amelogenins are 90% of the organic material proteins whilst the non amelogenins are 10%, Keep up the good work.
