Did you have to enlarge the coil bracket bolt holes? I have the same setup and had to move my coil to the rear like you did to get the hatch on

Thats ace!! I have a real defender 90 and I do full scale trials with it and I was wanting to make a miniature copy with an sc10 chassis. I'm an apprentice welder so I could make the bumpers too.

I realize that it was *seven years ago* - but I just found this, and wanted to say BRAVO!! 👏👏👏👍👍😎 LOVE the way you made the body mounts, very clean! And also, excellent Steel work on the Bumpers and Roll Cage. That Rig showed some *Real* skills!!! ...... You *would* have helped a LOT of people, if you just remembered to write down, and share the length of the cut down links, on this video. Other than that, I really enjoyed watching this go together, and you gave me some good ideas!

You always know this airplane got fucked up when there is no flying video. Too much shit at the same time, and this airplane is very GC sensitive, many crash them on maiden flight. Shit hit the fan on this one, LOL!

Doesn't having the battery in that position reduce front suspension travel because of where the servo goes into the chassis? And the wheels are venom creeper wheels.

Love the color and i've read a ton of bad on the timbuk2 wraith edition and esc smoking and the thing don't like any other bec but the Novak ones and there I guess junk and over heat and smoke easy also so looking into a good brushless sensored setup

Eu uso pesos de chumbo desses que tem nas rodas de carros para "balancear". Vc pode comprar eles novos em qualquer loja de mecânica que venda discos de freio e similares. Se vc for em uma oficina de balanceamento, vão te dar um tanto desses de graça. Eu sempre peço e me dão de boa.

I only have a few ounces of fuel through mine, but it already turns an 18x6 Top Flight Super M at 7800 RPM. Idles very reliably at 1650, and I'm sure it would idle slower with a heavier APC prop. These engines have a very small carb throat, which limits the top horsepower compared to some other engines of this size. Best way to gauge the H needle setting is to lean it out to the point where it just starts to sag after a few seconds at WOT. Then richen it about 1/8 turn. Re-check in the air.

I cannot find anyone actually showing what links and how they cut them to shorten the wheelbase to fit into a Defender 90 body. Can you give me some intructions?

Great job. I am getting ready to build one exactly like it. I got the body of the Land Rover D90 from Ebay and comes with the roof rack already. I am ordering the Axial SCX10 w/Dingo Body 1/10 Electric 4WD Truck Kit AXI90021 from Amazon.com. I was told that the D90 body should fit on it. After seeing yours, are you saying that there's a lot of modification needed to be done on it in order for it to fit? Please advise. Thanks.

If I had to guess Id say maybe 20. Wraith doesn't need much more speed as it flipped super easy at speed. gear was as big a spur that would fit, don't remember the teeth and slightly smaller pinion to prevent motor from heating up
