I know I've said it before but please never get rid of your channel, your video quality is perfect and seaking footage is precious now.
It sounds like someone is vaccuming the Sikorsky out with a large hoover rather than running.
Having served on D Flt from 2002 to 2006, it's wonderful to see these clips - and the stirring soundtrack! Thank you for putting together this compilation
Thank you for the comment I miss the Sea King it was such an iconic helicopter
Love the footage

My dads auntie & uncle lived here . We visited for many years . I loved playing around when I was a kid .
Used to see them flying over here pretty regularly and kind of took them for granted. Boy do I miss seeing them now. Wonderful.
Been to the top 4 times, never ran up it though!
Served my apprenticeship in the BA

What does the description mean about the “drop” and “rotor head out of position”?
Sorry should have wrote droop stops they stop the rotor blades sagging to low look at the rotor head as the spool up and you will see them move up
I was a SAR medic there 2000-2003. Great memories 😊
How did I find this place?
It would be nice to have a map and show the property options.
Wow what a breathtaking location! Really amazing, these recordings were really successful! Greetings from Germany and stay healthy! You have a New subscriber 👍👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏

They do an amazing job taking patients to hospital Inverness and cover 3000 Sq miles as far as Norway coast
Oh I love this 😍
John the Black Comyn was the brother of my 23rd great grandfather Sir Robert Comyn Kt. who died at Greyfriar's Church at Dumfries, in 1306, with his nephew, John the Red Comyn. Ironically, Robert the Bruce who carried out the murder of John the Red, was also my 22nd great grandfather.. To add further confusion, Christopher Seton who clubbed Robert Comyn to death that day, was also a relative of the family. He was later put to death by the English for his role in the plot.
Very good camera you have
Thank you John it is the Nikon P600
@@PDG005 No problem, I know I've said it before but yours and Torque137 have some of the best seaking videos on TH-cam.
@@johnn278 Very good of you to say that John thank you very much
my uncle has a house up there
Is this slightly sped up?
No not at all, vibration on the camera when lifting caused by the 100mph downdraft
@@PDG005 Ah I see, very well. I might have said this before (my memory isn't good) but please keep these videos up aslong as possible, the quality is amazing and as you know these beasts aren't around anymore. Many thanks.
@@johnn278 Sadly yes the Sea King is no more, Although there is a mark 3 being prepared for flight again for the airshow circuit along with the Whirlwind and Wessex
Love this place, love the people, been gone a long time now but still proud to call it home.

Where did you fly from and is it a public area?, im going up in 3 weeks time and looking for places to fly from. Nice video as well :)
I would like to get facts on where the wealth came to build these castles in Scotland, England. At least when looking at these castles and elaborate monasteries in Spain it is often said they were built from the wealth of the new world.
Makes me proud to be scottish
7:22 I would LOVE to be that guy!
<3 The best Sir <3 Rick would love it <3
With all the bagpipe music available in addition to Celtic music of all types, why did tbe producer of this great video use this song???? Ugh! The video is awesome, but the song leaves so much to be desired!
Inverlochy Castle was built circa 1270-1280 by John "the Black" Comyn, Lord of Badenoch and Lochaber, and chief of the Clan Comyn. It may have been built on the site of an earlier Pictish fortification and settlement, which the historian Hector Boece (1465-1536) records as a "city" that was destroyed by Vikings.[1] When Robert the Bruce succeeded to the Scottish throne in 1306, the Comyns, his rivals for the crown, were dispossessed, and the castle was unoccupied for a time.[1] In 1431, clansmen of Alexander MacDonald, Lord of the Isles, defeated King James I's larger army in the first Battle of Inverlochy, fought close by the castle. It came under control of the Clan Cameron until 1501.
Love it Dougie 🤟
Cheers Mate
Great video, Bell Huey II can really lift some her. is it in Scotland?
Yes Sam Nevis Range near Fort William thanks for your comment
The summer season has started again still feels like winter
I openly admit it. It took to me very much time to accept this instead the old SeaKing, but at the end I think that this is a very good but aesthetic great equipment.
Sorry but I really don't like the S92. The size and position of the recovery door and winch is just not right. I think they should have been made to operate the Merlin/EH101. The AW189 seem ideal for the shorter range duties but this thing just does not seem right to me. I believe it has a slightly dubious safety record as well. I would have like dthe service to have remained government/Service controlled rather than privatised. Using RM Merlins and getting the RN NEw airframes would have been my choice. Nice colour scheme though!
Who uses less than a 10 metre line?!? Madness!
Those that can't long line worth a shit lol
No need of a long line if you sling in a field or open space...
S92-A a brilliant helicopter all round, spacious inside, modern flies very level and very fast, perhaps one of the best all around helicopters I’ve flown in in service today. Sar are very lucky to have this helicopter no change from £30m
I've had that one over my house in Wolverhampton, England
If only you could have picture it without music, just keep it natural
Isn't the sound of a Huey and the Rolling Stones not natural ?
Nah, it's not the music itself what i am complaining about, the Rooling Stones are legend in my opinion! I just wish the scene where more naturally quite and serene with any BGMs, for the sake of being immersive as if I were standing in front of the great Huey
