I do too. I'm trying it out to see if videos do any better but it makes editing them much easier as well.

At least during today’s stream there were no clowns with the fire balls!

I need to play it more before I can say if I like it or not. The one thing I need to get used to is playing with just keyboard. I'm used to both keyboard and mouse. I did get past the first boss though.

@Seamanders You can play it with a controller. You do use controller for Lies of P, right?

I do. That might make more sense to my brain then. I’ll try that out next.

I tried pantheon 3 and trial of the fool probably about a month or so ago on twitch. I haven’t beat them yet. I do need to go back and try again.

I haven’t found that weapon yet. I’m currently stuck on Andreus in the cathedral. I’m excited to get past him and see what’s next!

@Seamanders Make sure you don't use the Ergo drops from bosses. They can be used to get insane weapons close to where you are. Etiquette (The Umbrella) is from the Scrapped Watchman's "Broken Hero's Ergo."

I don’t believe I’ve used any of the boss ergo. I met alidoro and he wanted the boss ergo for weapons and such but I didn’t want to give it to him. I can go back and talk to him and actually look at what he’s offering though.

@@Seamanders I want to see your reaction to some of them. You have a choice between a charm and a weapon. Are you still doing a dex and technique type build?

Yes I’m still doing dex and technique. I don’t really understand the whole technique part and how to tell if certain weapons are supposed to be motivity or technique. I know I don’t like the big strength weapons.

@Seamanders it definitely does. I just love seeing people getting it figured out. Like I said, really pay attention to what animation is happening before each attack, and try to see if there is some sort of partner in what they're doing. This advice will really help when you fight the Valkyrie

I tried a few of the Valkyrie’s and they are certainly tough. I’m working on getting better at dodging and I think figuring out the movements will be useful. Especially to keep my health.

I plan to! I enjoy Hollow Knight and steel soul will always be there to try again.

I plan on it! I just downloaded my twitch stream from my first day of playing lies of p and I need to go through it and break it up. I plan to post the first video sometime this week.

It was a really tough boss. This is also my first hard souls like game. I'm very proud I'm getting through these bosses!

@Seamanders Lies of P was also my first soulslike, I wish I had started with something a little easier lmao.

@@DumbGuyGames I have Eldin Ring and the Dark Souls games on my wishlist but I don't know if those are any easier haha

@@Seamanders If you like the parry based combat of Lies of P, I would recommend "En Garde!"

Absolutely terrifying. Especially when you see the head above the water and then it just dives under.

I think that's my main response any time I see some enemy like that. Whether it's a frost ancient, a grendel, or fighting some God.

You know, I didn't even realize! I was so focused on the Grendel attacking me. I went back and you're right, Atreus just screeches haha

@Seamanders absolutely beautiful. My wife is doing the same thing. You will get better and better. God of war is an especially good game to try and up your skills. I'll be watching to see your progress too! Can't wait to see you play the second one🤙

I'm starting to put my play through of God of War on TH-cam. I have a few videos to upload so far. I do plan on playing Ragnarok after this. I also just found out that God of War 1-3 might be getting a remake for pc! I may have to try those out too.

@@Seamanders oh yea definitely play the first ones. I also think they perfected the mechanics in Ragnarok so it's even more fun. If you're getting into more challenging games and enjoy RPGs the Witcher 3 is amazing. It'll challenge your skills and emotional handling 😂

I have the Witcher 3 and I plan on streaming that too! Not sure when it will be in my rotation though. So far I'm playing games on normal mode, but I did get Lies of P and just testing that out is proving really hard. I'll get there though!

It took so many tries for me to beat him. I'm still not done with him yet, but he sure did say no more Mr. Nice Guy!

I thought it was the way I was supposed to go. I ran around the entire area to make sure first. Then I jumped off the cliff 😂

I just started playing video games in 2020 and I’ve never owned a play station. I’m saving up for a ps5 though so maybe I can play the other games!

I figured we had to since there was no where else to go that I could see.

I bet they could come up with a solid story for Little Nightmares. I would read it if it were a book.

We love them once the Mantis Lords are defeated haha. Quirrel fussed at me and told me to go upgrade my nail before I fight them. I haven't yet but I probably should so I can try to keep my steel soul run for a little longer.

oh yeah before you do that go play radiant mantis lords in the hall of gods to practice, it really helped me figure that out (idk how many hours you have so it could be completely useless lol)

My main play through I had 77 hours when I defeated the Hollow Knight. I can go and practice the Mantis Lords on that play through. I think what will end up ruining the steel soul run will be opening the bridge to the City of Tears. I'm so bad about running into them. Maybe I should practice that section on my main game too!

I think it took me another 2 times to actually beat the Hollow Knight after this. I wasn't sure how to get out of that predicament if that's how the fight actually went.

I'm not too far off! I have 106% in the game and most of what I have left are dream bosses and pantheon (which will be very hard to do).

@@Seamanders ah don’t worry about the dream bosses outside the pantheons, most of them are pushovers, alas the pantheons are just a ton of fun, good luck with 3, 4 and 5

Thank you! I was pretty focused. This week I'm going to try the final boss and see how it goes.

I had actually just done the delicate flower quest and I had on weaversong, dreamshield, and my usual exploring charms which were the compass, grub song, and unbreakable heart. I tried the Pantheon of the Artist right after and I did not succeed. Next time I try I'll switch out for quick slash and heavy blow.

It was stressful. It took me quite a few attempts to get it but I finally did!

Ori fell from the spirit tree that’s in the middle of the forest. The goal is to restore three main elements of the forest to restore it. It’s been a challenging platformer but it’s been so much fun so far. I’ve restored one of the main elements and I need to finish the other two elements.

Right! I went back in there and they were all gone. I was so surprised.

I did read it and I have their gratitude but grab dad could have waited at least 😂

But it’s just so sad. I saved them all and they just get eaten right away.

Yeah I haven’t gotten to the part in the game where I fight the hollow knight but I know it’s a thing. But Nosk is disguised either way and I wasn’t a fan haha
