How can life be a gift? No matter how you look at it. If there's no afterlife and God, then there's only nothing. All will have been in vain, and we don't take anything with us, everything dissapears, even civilization and humans and memories and everything anyone ever did ever. Is just a little glimpse you won't even remember. And if there is a God and an afterlife, i must assume that is better than here. Non duality, all knowing, no trauma, no fear, no inequality, no evil, no waste of time no bad things at all. There's lots of that here though. So how can this be a gift? Yes obviously there's good moments, even for me. And im content and somewhat appreciate my time. Still. Having a hard time understanding it as a gift, more as a chore. And if no God and afterlife, just a struggle.
