My name is Kevin and I have been married to a filipina since April 2018 and we have a 4 year old son (Kevin Jr). I used to live in Northern Alberta as I worked as an electrician in the Canadian oilfields up until September 2021 where my wife & I decided to sell everything in Canada and move to her country (the Philippines).

For 2.5 years we lived near Butuan City (Buenavista) where my wife's family lives and in June 2024 we began to look for other places in the Philippines to live permanently and my wife always like the province of Bukidnon where we found the town of Malaybalay and loved the COOL CLIMATE here as Malaybalay is 633 meters above sea level.

On June 30th 2024 we moved from Buenavista to Malaybalay (225km) and this channel will be all about life in Malaybalay for those looking for a nice laid back and cool climate to live in the Philippines.
