i forgot about this album but turning it on immediately threw me back to listening to it all those years ago. I met Luke with Anamanaguchi at PAX East 2013 and they were lovely lovely people. Not to mention one of the best live performances i've seen. That era of them was unmatched. This album kicks ass !!!!!!!

It like the ambiance it gives on halved speed. You should make a fire temple slowed version with a bit of pitch effects, I think it can turn into something more creepy than the shadow temple :p

The background pattern sounds like forest temple when worked this way but it is the water temple, an easy way to notice it for everybody : listen around 3:03 that damaged piano is playing the melody with strong low notes. This is an interesting listening experience :)

The pale yellow light from the setting sun just manages to break through the mist and casts a steady golden glow through the many tree trunks around you. The closeness of the trees and the mist encloses the sounds of your footsteps, bringing their crunching echo back to you quickly. Though you swear you're alone, you can't help but feel that another set of footsteps are following close behind you...

The first track appears to me to be a musical expression of the random chaos of the universe colliding, and producing the information which is projected as holograms by black holes at the edge of universe which we perceive as reality. Or, to put it more bluntly, I really like it.
