I took statin for 2 years, if i stopped statin then cholesterol used to increase, i did intermittent Fasting almost every day for 2 years, then i did 24 hours fasting for 2 weeks continuously without a break, and i checked that my cholesterol is normal so i stopped statin, and now i dont need statin anymore after 2 years, intermittent fasting really helped me. My thyroxine also reduced from 37.5 to 25 with the continuous 2 week long 24 hour fast.
