If you read garden of shadows turns out the momma and half uncle are actually half siblings
I love ❤❤❤ vc Andrew's books 📚 so much and i love flowers in the attic and that whole series including the 5th book that was written by the ghost author
Why are you so judgemental? It seems you don’t understand the meaning of what is going on. It came off very immature.
You should have read Heaven, it's her best book (written by her not Andrew Neiderman)
I figured out Ethan, Cody, and Oscar easily. The twist I missed that felt obvious after I discovered it, was Cass. After, I realized all the foreshadowing I had missed. The box being the obvious one, that I just ignored. I knew Ethan at the beginning. Something about Cody felt off, but I hadn’t guessed what until just after the 50% mark. I was also shocked at Liv’s death in the beginning.
Missing your videos :(
I’m sure that by this point, the Andrews family has ghostwriters for the ghostwriter. Their greed is absolutely disgusting. They proved they are no different from Corinne Foxworth - putting material gain over the dignity of a family member. I stopped reading the Niederman books when it became screamingly obvious that each series followed a cookie-cutter formula ripped off from the Casteel series, the last one in which VCA had direct involvement. There’s always a heroine who starts in poverty and finds out she has a secret rich family, a bitch sister who the narrative constantly slut-shames, a first love who turns out to be a jerk, a One True Love who is forbidden to be with the MC for some reason, and lots of abuse (although under Niederman, whippings and tar in the hair have been replaced by cruel pranks and taunting). Oh, and the last book is about the daughter of the heroine finding out about her family’s dark secrets, and there’s a prequel in which the villain tries to explain themself. BOR-ING! And now they’ve got him continuing the Flowers series in unnecessary ways? That Shadows of Foxworth book had better not be about Cathy’s grandchildren being abused. If it is, it craps all over VCA’s own end for the series, that Cathy’s grandchildren finally escape the cycle of generational trauma.
I feel the 1st movie was a bit rushed. Also, the sex scene were a bit over the top, they were nothing like in the book. The book felt like it was written by a college student and not by a serious writer. I have read way better book on Dream.
Sorry but those review was just as bad as the movie and the book.. I thought i was going to get a dive into the differences between the two. However I'm getting ur opinion on the book. 😒
I really loved your video. Hey: Loose security conditions in the small library of the high-security prison in Cameroon from where my cousin has been released. They let the prisoners steal all the books except for four which are safely guarded. 1 . "The Hanging Garden" by Ian Rankin. 2. "The Picture of Dorian Gray" by Oscar Wilde. 3. "Bleeding Stubs" by Donald Besong. 4. "Purple Hibiscus" by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. Please send your used novels to any mayor in Douala with tag "Prison reform program."

Or new ones too.
Read the rest of the books before to toot ur horn...You honestly have no idea what your putting foot into...and your only referencing the 1st book......IJS
Great unbiased review. Thanks for this!
Great review, sorry you had to spend $400 on these 😅
I personally think Ashley’s awful narrating and storytelling translates to her book. Their podcast was all I had until I found Morbid, and the book just read in her voice and mannerisms. Was not a fan at all.
Hi! What’s the book besides your head? (On your left). Women in acknowledged? Which author?
Hope you are doing good. I’ve been missing your video’s.😊
Me tooo
Thanks for the review. They started advertising on podcasts and I was wondering how well they worked for that much money. I have bad vision so I guess I'll be skipping it. The uploading of DRM free epub thing might be to prevent just dropping hundred of pirated books from your pc 🤷
Hey, hope you’re doing well! I was just wondering if this channel is gone? Have always loved your videos☺️!
Missing your videos too. Hope real life is okay!
He's a true ghost writer in the real sense of the word 'ghost' lol Maybe when he sits to write he channels her?? The VC Andrews estate and remaining family just want to keep capitalizing on her death which is obvious.
Excellent review 💜 subscribed
its all commercialized, where the heck is love
Hey, great review! Regarding your disappointment with the crossover: I haven't read ACOTAR (yet?) and it would have been so strange if she added random characters that I didn't know, to the already too high number of characters that were Bryce's entourage. I'm glad she didn't "introduce" even more characters in the last book. Edit: also the Ithan storyline annoyed me so much it hurt, and instead of bringing Bryce the antidote on time he needs to bury the old prime for 3 effing hours!!!!!
I just picked two BOTM books from the thrift store $3 each. There was a couple more but I left them. I’ll look out for the other companies too now.
I feel the same. After the marriage, it was bad. And oh my god, the final office scene was so cringy.
You seem like a sweet bubbly person. Do yourself a favor and just stay away from gothic horror. I think the genre may not be your happy place.😂❤
I hated it! It was sooooo boring
Loved the book ,read it twice. Favorite book .love it themes.
Just finished and needed to hear someone’s else’s thoughts on it 😂 soo many thoughts, I want more story
I got an ad for these today on Goodreads and my immediate reaction was “Why?” 😂 It seems to be a product that is half-baked at best, and needs more work on all fronts before getting to customers! Thanks for a great review, very thorough!
If you've got a Kindle, you can convert your Kindle library to EPUB using Calibre and the De-DRM plugin. It's a little work though, and judging from your experience I'm not sure it would be worth it lol. I've had good luck doing this with my Boox reader though.
Even as a male these books were a godsend growing up. I discovered dawn by shear chance at the perfect time I guess. Finding it free at a giveaway little free library. Soon I came to find the orphan series with butterfly and Brooke and flowers in the attic etc. To this day I have a physical copy of dawn (I still despise grandma despite knowing the end of the story) along with a pears Anthony virtual mode book in Ziploc bags (I'm homeless and moisture is a regular problem/detrimental thing to all paper). I don't read them on the regular but when I run out of power or need a serious distracting break from my own hardship these books never disappoint even having read them before. Though I could say the same of Harry Potter and the philosophers stone (the mirror of erised). I swear sometimes I want to forget reality and live forever in "other worlds". "Alas it does no good to dwell on dreams and forget to live" ... But dam it! Dumbeldore... What if life is no good? I've not earned this, Yet here I am. I've fought through he!! Refused to lay down and give up yet I still suffer. I cling to these things not because I won't step up and try for better but because despite my best I have had my efforts dashed and the rug pulled from under my feet.
This seems like an awkward solution to a problem nobody has. When you're reading the book, the immersive experience is supposed to be *the story*. That's what's supposed to make the rest of the world go away. As for the device itself, it sounds like the fit problem could be solved if they had a head strap for it that connected the arms. It sounds like they would've been better off designing it as a headset that would fit anyone. $400 could get you a hell of a Kindle that you'd get a lot more and a lot more pleasant use out of than this thing. There are also headsets that you can plug directly into your phone, so you can use the Kindle app, or any other app.
You deserve each other is too good 🤌
A few years ago, I bought the Christmas edition of Once Upon a Bookclub and I was absolutely stunned by the amount of cheap junk the box contained. Also, I was not interested in reading any of the books I received. They all seemed boring. I really love Lit Love. That’s my favorite.
I'm sitting here laughing because you don't even know the half of it. Finish the series. It's all so much worse than you thought.
Happy birthday month. I picked "the wedding people" a little over 200 pages in so far. Love the character development and dialogue. And picked up Abby Jimenez's "part of your world" to start the trilogy
Hmm, I'm wondering if Katherine McNamara would make a great Feyre? Thoughts?
If anything good came out of being disappointed in Sol its finding your channel.
Thank you for your review. I was wondering what application is in the sole reader. Well, I will see if there will be more upgraded wearable E book readers.
Excellent review! Love your cheerfulness :) It's a big letdown, I really expected better considering that they want to be the gamechangers in e-reading. I believe they should, other than improve the screen so that readers with prescription like me won't be having problems, make SOLR compatible with Andrid and Apple phones, so that you can use the remote to scroll through the apps and choose the one you need to read with! I mean, I have Kindle, Kobo, Everand, Libby etc. accounts! I need to stay in touch with my main device and use the SOLR as if I were using that device! And if SOL didn't want to accept other apps, OK, I wouldn't mind paying $15 for a subscription, but for such price I want AT LEAST a library as vast as Amazon's! Like you said, they hurried into making this product without really thinking of the customers (much the same mistake Humane did with their AI Pin)
Thank You so much for this review. Was gonna read this but after hearing you describe it I’ve lost interest. Thank you for saving me the time!
Glad it was helpful! 😄
Flowers in the attic is not about incest! Lol maybe you should read a book before you pontificate on it 😂 incest is one of many themes in the book, but to say that’s what the book is about is just so flat out wrong
I didn't mind the show. What I didn't like was that the reason Gustav killed himself was bc he had cancer. That was never a thing in the book. The reason he killed himself was bc of financial crisis/bankruptcy. I thought Sweden was a socialist country(?), but capitalism is touched up on a lot and how it affects people's will to live. So like you said, in the show, him having cancer and then jumping after being denied a loan from Zara makes no sense. Maybe it could be seen as his like breaking point bc everything was going bad in his life so being denied a loan is what made him snap. However, in the book, he does it bc he felt like a failure to himself and his family. That was what I did not enjoy. That, plus Zara and Nadia's interactions being completely cut. It gave them both so much depth. The dialogue cut back on depth a lot. But I did enjoy some stuff they added in. Like Ro going missing, the letter being longer, showing Liv's husband, Jill overdosing, the haircut, the hairdresser, and getting rid of the original bank employee. You mention that them showing the hostages leaving the apartment and how everything went from the police's pov as a spoiler, HOWEVER, within the first chapter in the book (and even in the summary I think), we know that the hostages were released and that the robber was nowhere to be found. Maybe showing Lennart from the get go was a spoiler, but then it just adds interest bc viewers will be like "What the hell? Why was there a man dressed in a bunny custome?" And you also say that the reveal of the robber wasn't a shock, and maybe it's different bc I read the Spanish version where gender pronouns are a big factor, but I think it was clever. It was to make people question your judgment. I definitely thought the robber was a man until the reveal and found myself sympathizing more after finding out they were a woman. Like I said, it makes you question your bias and judgment. I do agree with a lot of what you shared, but overall, I enjoyed the show for what it was. Plus, the end credits??? I thought that was SO cool
I got Bright Sword
I’m trying Look in the Mirror
