Ryan Bingham's performances were excellent. They all were good. I'm very happy that I got the privilege to attend... Definitely enjoyed revisiting the greatest of Robbie Robertson and the Band.

Van looks much slimmer than he has in recent years. I hope it was a healthy weight loss and not an ill health weight loss. He still sounds great and remains one of my favorite singer/songwriters.

Eric Clapton should just stop playing. His guitar solos had not shown anything new or creative or imaginative for decades. And the man ... well he's become bloodu racist hasn't he. So just disappear please Eric. I can't think of a musician I have less respect for.

Thanks, JimPio. Right on , on EC's part: TSIi, and Chest; he was close to RR but spend some time hearing him out on the subject of Richard who sang lead on both. Those choices make even more sense if you understand EC and Richard ManuEL, as Bill Graham pronounced it. (I don't recall who sang lead on FF), then if others are unaware... EC and Ricky wrote Out of the Blue together, if memory serves.

This was a highlight for me!

Deep ,deep friendship ,respect and admiration from Eric Clapton to Robbie Robertson . Firm friends since the early 70's , Eric split up the then Supergroup -Cream - because he could no longer justify their style of playing after hearing The Band 's Music From Big Pink debut album ....such was the reverence he had for them . Thats extra special in my book .....
