May The LORD bless all that you put your hands to... And may it all be for His Glory and Honor in Christ Jesus's Name The Lord Jesus Christ has delivered me from drug addiction, homelessness, abusive relationships, evil spirits (yes they're real) , sexual immorality, swearing, lying, stealing, laziness.. and even more. I give all the glory to Him. All praise and worship belong to God. He is real. He is bigger than any problem you face. He will meet you where you are at. Even right now. (Romans 10:13) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Currently I'm experiencing a demonic attack. But I am standing on The Word of God which says I have authority over devils and we are commanded by Christ Jesus to drive/cast them out. So I'm will continue to drive them out in The Name of Jesus Christ. Friends I implore you to do the same. The devil doesn't want us thinking it's real. We have authority over it! All of them. I cannot say that my ex-abuser ex-husband was not an abuser because he would verbally and physically abusing for 33 years. He was an adulterous and he would tell me to find another man to find another man to love me. He never loved me and I always forgave him for being unfaithful to me but he did not forgive me. Therefore he did have the true love of God but I still forgive him. I actually feel sorry for because he never knew the true love of the living God of Israel from the Bible. I am faithful to the Lord God Almighty Jesus because he has touched my heart and I have surrender to the Almighty who died for me a wretched sinner like me. I can feel his love surrounding me even though I DO NOT deserve. I thank my God, my King, my Lord, my Savior, for everything that he provides me with, including my life.

I believe in this man and God! I have a serious question that has been laying heavily on my heart! What do people on here think of Leslie Dixon Weatherhead as a Christian and author? I find that I disagree with a lot of his opinions. I'm in search of God and have been my whole life. I am 65 years old and hope to be saved soon. I have some books of his (Weatherhead) that I'm thinking about shredding. From what I've read in them, some of his opinions I believe are the exact opposite of what Paul Washer, Voddie Baucham, John MacArthur, what I've been taught from scripture and the Church. To me, what I have read in them, they would be better used to compost my garden than to read. Just my opinion.

What characterizes a true Christian faith? From time to time I use the term "true Christian faith", and one may then ask why it is necessary to insert this word "true" before the words "Christian faith". Isn't it enough to just say Christian faith? What is the difference? In our time, there is an incredible amount of human thought, pure delusions and the worldliness of all beauty that has corrupted the Christian faith. You can perceive it as if it is okay for a Christian to believe a little anyway, a little as you see fit. Many pick according to their own taste and taste from a crowded spiritual smorgasbord and do not ask for "label of origin". This is clearly noticeable if you e.g. see what the Church of Sweden offers today. But many free churches are not far behind. Despite this mess in so-called Christendom, this mix is ​​called "Christian". One can then rightly ask the question whether people are really true Christians when their faith includes this new mix. Eternal truths A true Christian faith must clearly include a series of firm, unshakable and eternal truths in order to be considered true. It absolutely cannot have a content that is based on people's different opinions and/or feelings. A true Christian faith must be defined by God, and then we need to find out what he has determined. Of course, it can be the case that a person who has just become a Christian did not have time to grasp these Christian truths right away. But as the believer matures and gains insight, these truths must come into place for the faith to count as a true Christian faith . These are important and fundamental truths that keep faith healthy and active, and keep faith all the way to eternal life with God-the life that is the real goal of a true Christian . I will highlight some such truths that I am convinced must be part of a true Christian faith . The Bible is the foundation of true Christian faith The word Christian refers to the person who believes in and confesses to Jesus Christ. It was quite shortly after Jesus' time on earth that the believers in Jesus began to be called "Christians" (Acts 11:26). Being a Christian means that you are connected to Christ. The source of knowledge about Jesus Christ is the Bible, Jesus himself said this: Luke 24:27: "And he began with Moses and all the prophets, and explained to them what was written about him in all the Scriptures." The entire Bible is largely about Jesus. He is the Word of the Bible embodied, and the great "secret" about Jesus is that he is God who came to his own creation in human form. John 1:1, 14: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God... And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we saw his glory" So the absolute foundation of a true Christian faith must be the Bible with all its texts. It is the entirety of the Bible that constitutes the Truth with a capital "S", or as the Bible itself expresses it: Ps 119:160: "The sum of your word is truth". You can then also say that Jesus IS the Truth, which he himself also confirmed: John 14:6: "I am the way, the truth , and the life." The apostle Paul also testified to the importance of the Bible: 2 Tim 3:16-17: "All Scripture is God-breathed..." The apostle Peter also wrote something similar: 2 Peter 1:20-21: "Above all, you must know that no prophecy in Scripture has come about by its own interpretation. For no prophecy has been brought forth by the will of any man, but led by the Holy Spirit men have spoken what they have received from God.” And Jesus himself emphasized the importance of the Word of the Bible: Matthew 5:18-19: "Before heaven and earth pass away, not one letter, not one jot, will pass from the law until all is fulfilled. Whoever therefore cancels one of these least commandments and teaches men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven.” The following Bible words are at the end of the Book of Revelation and thus at the end of the Bible. I think therefore we can say that this warning applies to the whole Bible: Rev 22:18-19: "For everyone who hears the words of the prophecy in this book I testify: If anyone adds anything to these words, God will put on him the plagues that are written about in this book. And if anyone takes away something from the words that are in the book of this prophecy, God will take away from him his part in the tree of life and in the holy city, as it is written about in this book." This then means the following: if you call yourself a Christian , then it is the entire Bible that you must base your faith on. If you remove something from the foundation of the Bible and its testimony, it is no longer a question of a true Christian faith . The same applies if you add something that goes beyond the teaching of the Bible. If you remove or add, you no longer have the whole Truth, then you have created a foreign faith, an unhealthy mix, which you can no longer call true Christian faith . A true Christianthus cannot correct anything in the Bible, nor expand it with new ideas. As a true Christian, one can quite naturally find certain texts in the Bible difficult to understand, perhaps even difficult, but that does not give the Christian the right to censor these texts. Instead, one should dig deeper and ask God for increased insight and understanding. A true Christian can also suffer from doubts, but this can also be asked of God for help in overcoming. Doubt must also not be a reason for deleting parts of the Bible's content - or adding to it. The teaching of the Bible is thus the absolute basis for a true Christian faith , everything else is secondary. Your or my experiences as a Christian must be subordinate to the Bible. We are not called to testify about "what we have been through", we are called to testify about Jesus and his act of reconciliation. This is exactly what Paul felt about his preaching: 1 Corinthians 2:2: "For I had decided, when I was with you, to know nothing but Jesus Christ and him who was crucified." This or that teaching on the Internet is also completely subordinate to the Bible. If doctrines and teachings appear that are not supported by or found in the Bible, they must be rejected! Science fiction-like ideas that go under the "Christian" banner and that talk vaguely about the end times, about aliens, about hierarchies in the demon world, etc., can - and should! - a true Christian ignore. ****** IMPORTANT ******** A-lot of Trinitarians do not know this but after the council of Nicaea any in 325 this Trinity was made mandatory and a lot of Christians were persecuted , tormented and killed for not accepting the trinity doctrine. The trinity doctrine is not of God even the trinity symbol/logo is pagan. I hear so many Trinitarian‘s say how Mohammed was wrong for killing the Christians to except Islam when the Trinitarian‘s founders we’re doing the same thing to make the Christians accept their trinity doctrine !!!!!! Look at the fruits it’s killings , persecutions and tortures . even history tells us how the Trinitarian‘s after the Nicene Creed was created they used every torturing instrument they had available. I'm wondering if someone can clarify something for me? Paul Washer was saying that men can choose to resist the Holy Spirit. This seems contradictory to the effectual calling, as RC Sproul put it, meaning that if someone is chosen by God, He will draw them unto Himself, and they will be regenerated, saved, and sanctified. So I guess I'm just a bit confused as to whether ppl can resist the Holy Spirit, or they can't, because of effectual calling. Wondering if someone could clear this up for me, I would greatly appreciate it!

One of the problems with Christianity is that most sermons are either solely about the New Testament or are Joel Osteen style sermons that have very little to do with either the New or Old Testament. Most of Joel Osteen type sermons resemble improved Tony Robbins motivational type lectures on how to be successful in life or resemble get rich quick schemes. Deuteronomy 4:2 basically says not to substitute Joel Osteen type material for the Old Testament as Joel Osteen type sermons support Christianity’s adulterous & idolatrous worship of idols, money & financial success. The reason the Old Testament or Tanakh is so important is that the Old Testament is more or less a history book of the human race. And if you don’t learn from history, you are doomed to repeat the same mistakes you have made in the past. The main problem with the New Testament is that in terms of a history book, it only goes back to the time of JC. The New Testament just doesn’t cover a very long time period. The Old Testament goes back to creation of the universe and covers a much larger time frame. The big question is about whether or not Christians should be worried in the least. The answer is found in Isaiah 27:1 with the Leviathan representing Christianity. G - - always lives up to His promises. Of course, you would only know this fact if you have read the Old Testament. Another thing to consider if you are well read in the Tanakh is that the Levites lived on tithes in exchange for teaching G - -‘s word to the populace. Not long after the prophet Joshua died, the Levi group of priests much like Joel Osteen began teaching the populace more about what they felt the populace wanted to hear with the motivation largely being to get the biggest donations. Once Jews re-instituted idol worship & turned away from worshipping G - -, G - - had approximately 95% of the Jewish population massacred first by the Assyrian army and then by the Babylonian army. Only a small remnant of Jews survived. G - -‘s punishment for the Jews was considerably worse than what happened to Jews in World War II in terms of percentage of the population massacred. And G - - considered Jews His children. So if you think Christians will somehow escape G - -‘s wrath from idolatrous Joel Osteen type preaching, then think again as G - - doesn’t have the same type of relationship with Christians due to Christian worship of JC as their savior. Isaiah 27:1 will eventually prevail, and G - - will very likely not spare even a single Christian artery or vein. In fact Obadiah 18 basically states that there will be no survivors from the house of Esau. Are there any other unforeseen problems created by Joel Osteen type preaching whereby very little Tanakh based scripture is taught during sermons? Yes. First Christians suffer immensely financially & socially from this type of Tanakh-free preaching. Just look at how many radio talk shows have popped up in major cities across the USA with the theme of “catching cheaters” in regards to adultery. Cheater themed talk shows are incredibly popular and are now major advertising revenue creators for radio talk shows as radio listeners love to hear about other peoples’ misery. Adultery, and divorce caused by adultery is absolutely rampant throughout America. The social costs are in the multiple billions in terms of children who now live with one parent or who now have to move back and forth between parents during the holidays. Poor quality, low Tanakh content Joel Osteen type Christian preaching also invariably leads to rampant antisemitism when divorced broken family angry Christians look at their happily married Jewish neighbors who tend to not only be happy in life but who tend to have multiple happy and well adjusted children. And all this Christian divorce, misery & unhappiness could be so easily avoided if only Christians would realize that the only person cashing in on Tanakh-free sermons is possibly Joel Osteen and his family. Tanakh-free sermons create a situation much like the mega state lottery where there is only one 400 million dollar winner and everyone besides the winner loses the $3 they paid for the tickets. With Tanakh-free sermons, Joel Osteen is the main lottery winner. Additionally, the Christian version of the Old Testament in the Christian Bible has been so severely altered to support Christianity’s love for idolatry and adultery, that the Christian version of the Old Testament is no longer even remotely usable. Go to Sefaria.org or Chabad.org to get an unaltered free online version. If you don’t believe adultery is a problem in the USA just contemplate the proliferation of morning radio show programs about catching cheaters. Additionally, what does the Tanakh or history of the human race say about false prophets/ preachers who lead their sheep-like followers astray for massive financial gain? Well, it never, ever ends well. For example, mega-preacher Gwen Shamblin Lara who instead of teaching Tanakh based scripture, tried to get Christians to lose weight through nutrition. Gwen Shamblin Lara perished at a very young age in a plane crash along with her husband and 5 other church leaders. And the list of Christian-type total disasters goes on. The reason Gwen Lara Shamblin perished is that historically one of G - -‘s main weapons of destruction for His enemies is disease / pestilence. Obesity is a disease, and if G - - had allowed Gwen Lara Shamblin to continue living, she would have been in direct conflict with G - - in preventing Isaiah 27:1 from coming to fruition. Read last 3 paragraphs below to learn about G - -‘s other preferred weapons He sometimes uses on His enemies. I know many people feel “saved” by JC, but there is a big difference between “feeling saved” and actually being “saved.” For example, you might feel totally saved & safe jumping off a plane 30,000 miles up because you “feel” you have the best parachute money can buy. However, if you forget to read and apply Tanakh to your life and cheat on your spouse, you won’t actually be safe if the parachute cord was cut by your spouse after discovering the affair. But, then it is too late once you’re headed downward at 110 miles per hour. You see, you don’t want to end up fulfilling Isaiah 27:1 with your own life.
