I think you need to drop the construction bit. The PM covers the entire project life cycle on behalf of the client. Unless it’s say an EPCM project by a developer, it’s likely the construction element will be tendered and delivered by a contractor. The contractor will then have a PM but really it will be a contract manager. The day to day construction in the uk is done by a site agent who will the site lead management team. The client will have a representative depending on contract type. If you want to understand PM properly join the APM in the UK or the PMI in the US.

Yvette such a powerful message! Thank you for sharing your story!
Thanks for this video 💎 given
Loved this episode 💎 💎 💎
So do we!!!
As a female, I am so glad that I found your podcast. There are so many gems in this podcast. I have been watching other episodes, which also were great gems. I want to work in construction project management.
'Promo SM' ⭐
Do you have to have a degree?
Very cool video! We have worked with many project managers and not all are the same.
That part where you screamed field trip in my ear was extremely jarring
Love your energy! I’m getting out of the military and getting into trades and I’m very excited!
I worked for DPR a long time ago thank you THOR
Welcome to my free construction estimating template I've developed over the years. Feel free to remove my logos, to change and verify all labor rates, productivity rates, materials rates, general conditions, general overhead, profit, formulas, etc and to make this spreadsheet your own. In this video I give a summary tour of the Estimate, Proposal, SOV (Schedule Of Values), etc tabs and some of the built-in functions. I will be happy to answer any questions in the comments and can be available for hire by the hour to help with training, customization, estimating, and other construction management needs. So annoying.. is this written for a 5-year-old audience?
Are you 5?
I’m trying to find information from the perspective of PM’s like me who work in a specialty trade on large projects like those described in this video.
I'm currently working in a project where dpr is also working as well
Very professional and goof information.
Feel free to ask questions? I got couple 1- why y’all keep deleting comments? Truth hurt? 2- why Apprentices are dumb lazy af. 3- how much is to babysit those lazy dumb asses from the AProgram? I’m baby sitting one that probably use the knee pads and twist and spit at the interview to get in the program because but doesn’t have common fcking sense.
Can I be a project manager with mba
Hay quá
99% in front of a computer or on the phone or both, but DEFINITELY not boring. There's 1000+ variables to deal with, constant problem solving, and massive pressure from above. If you like challenges, are able to think outside the box quickly, and are able to build trusting relationships, PMing is for you.
In brief , more problems daily and working under pressure you will get high blood and diabetes. Civil engineer work is a miserable life after u get old but if you are still young u will be happy as u give orders to people and take your own decisions .
Construction Project Manager adalah person yang bekerja pada sisi pihak Kontraktor. Tetapi kalau Construction Management adalah organisasi yang bekerja pada sisi pihak Pemilik Proyek.
Very informative. Thank you 👍

Hi, do help with CV writing for construction management?
That was more informative than my 4 year bachelor degree
Kkkkkkkkk
Thank you for sharing.
Construction Management is like a continuous event organizing process.
That was very well done thank you nice job
This was amazing!!!!
Beautifully pieced together!
I’m offering building technology at the moment.. the people who assured to help me with a job after school are now not willing to do so and I don’t know why.. so if I could get help from anyone here I’ll be grateful..
Project Management and Construction Manager are not the same thing. Project Management is a much broader field of study and generally includes all lifecycles and phases of a project. Project Management areas of concentration according to PMI include projects in IT, healthcare, and engineering & construction. Construction Management is specific to the management of the construction phase of the overall project, and is broken down into types of construction such as residential, commercial, heavy infrastructure & Industrial. The term Construction Project Manager is simply a PM in the construction industry. The specific types of construction industries generally do not accept experience from other industries, so it can be very difficult to change industries without taking a big step backwards.
I am in China and I will be a great project manager
Nice.
We love saying the word construction in our house th-cam.com/video/1-vHbjqGqoU/w-d-xo.html
Very energetic young lady :-) Well done! Covered what needed to be and with pinache....fun to watch.

Thank you Angelica. Entertaining and chock-full of good info. You rock!
Great job Angelica. Very informative. So proud of you❤️
Awww thank you! I appreciate it
I am so happy to hear how well Angela is doing after her time at Capitol Tech <3 She's clearly got a bright future ahead!
Great job Darryl! We are so very proud of you!
I'm a little confused because it seems the term "construction manager/management" and "construction project manager" are used interchangeably throughout the video but I was under the impression that they are two similar but separate fields. Am I wrong?
Same here. I’m lost
I am looking to become an electrician for now and eventually having an electrical business and being able to do project management
Great Job best video I have seen yet!!
You have too few subscribers for how good your videos are!
TerrIfic message. Every school guidance counselor should have this available to all students. Well done!
This presentation was very informative. I'll make contact to the guest for sure. Also, I've forward it to those who may be interested. Thank you
Kids, right now the Construction Managers I know are closer to the Superintendant role and make more than the PM! Both positions are difficult to fill, but Construction Managers and Superintendents are far harder to find.
