The Original Wailers feat. Al Anderson - Song of the Divine (Official Video)
As an artist in the musical world, you use reality and your experiences from your travels to understand people of different cultures, the sound of music and the beauty of the environment. It was the right visual landscape to bring everything together, soul, mind, inspiration… It was a spiritual adventure. Most of all we felt love from the native people of Bali as we exchanged cultures. We would like to share our experience with the world and show how music moves people culturally, spiritually. It manifests the best of what human beings have to give each other, Love and Understanding. Enjoy. AL, 🙏🏾

My guitar playing through out the years, yesterday and today. In this video caption I’m performing with Bob Marley & The Wailers and The Original Wailers, my own group. I used videos and photos from my personal archive and other public resources.
Magnificent Wailers!!!!!
Genius guitarist who makes us transcend. He drank from the fountain of culture, musicality, and the fight for rights. Thank you for your art. Jah bless you.
Hey Al, great meeting you in Corpus Christi of all places. We love your music, energy, spirit, and ability to reach people through your words. We love you!
Thanks for posting these gems, I recall so many times being carried far away to another dimension by the searing and totally unique sound of Al Anderson, I hope to see part 2 in due time, bless

Uma lenda viva.
Saw Bob Marley & the Wailers live in 1979, Atlanta, GA. Fox Theatre. Still have my ticket stub.
Thats Irie !!!
I've been playing blues and rock for years and never really listened to Reggae as an adult. Since my son was born, I've been exploring Reggae again (as it's what I grew up listening to) and was shocked to hear lots of lead licks and riffs I know and love. I'm having so much fun learning about Reggae and digging into the back catalogs. Thank you for blessing the guitar with these beautiful tones! ❤🇯🇲
Thank you for the kind words. It's good to know someone appreciate the vibrations! Everything is connecting to vibrations is positive.
I'm seeing some George Benson in Al Anderson style of playing the Guitar. And a little of the five stair steps. Oh Child.
You are on to something🙏✊
This was some serious soul food runnins timeless Starship time machine breath of fresh air trip musical compilation for sure... we feel you brother and we were with you all the way as well as now... selah
Wow the original wailers! Didn't know they were still around - and looking so young and fresh - what's their secret? Most of these guys must be in their 70s, no?
Big respect to you my brother Al Anderson... Thank you ,and all the players of the Wailers for creating our personalities and idiosyncrasies through your music and messages That night in Athens of Greece back on 2005, i also sook the hand of the Aston Barrett, and Junior marvin, When guys you were exiting the Gagarin music hall before entering the bus What a great honor and moment for a 15 years old kid back then... now i'm 34
Brother Al Anderson i have goosebumps everytime i remember the night we sook our hands.........It was back on 2005 where you, the mighty Aston Barrett and junior marvin ,as the Wailers, gave a concert in Athens of Greece,at Gagarin music hall.... I was 15 years old...and for me this experience will stay inside me until the day i leave...so emotional in such an important age of 15
I have always loved you, your music, from the days you were with Bob til now. Al remember me from Poughkeepsie, NY the 'original Kaya'!!!

Hi Man, you are one of my favorite guitar player. How many years did you study in music school ? Did you learn jazz first ? Respect ❤
Blessings🙏🏾. This is one of my interviews I made for Australia few weeks ago, where I was talking about my musical education.. www.therockpit.net/2023/interview-the-original-wailers-al-anderson/
Thank you so very much 🙏
very fascinating interview❤
Giving thanks ever so much. Is there a way that we can talk and share some music and it's history and experiences by the way of email and telephone? Also curious if you are still working with and in touch with Desi?
Respect. By the way, did you know that you and I are the "historic" only two American born musicians featured in the "historic" - "Best in Classic Reggae Concerts Online Reggae Strong" NeuLion compilation in the Canadian Jump TV Reggae Strong Volume 4 ? We had the honor and distinction of being featured in the same with Black Uhuru, Bob Marley and your honorable self... the Wailers, Maxi Priest, Moja Nya, Third World, and others. Yours truly performed and arranged the keyboards you hear on Moja Nya's landmark hit single called "Rise Up". Would love to share my copy and experiences with you. Even more so, would love to fellowship and create something righteous with you. Respect always and in all ways, strength and well-being to you. Selah
Thank you Al, from Namibia
❤❤❤
MAESTRO! The best reggae guitarist in the history!
Al Anderson! I’ve always wondered why you aren’t given guitarist credit on Confrontation. Aren’t you playing guitar on Give Thanks & Praises? Respect 🫡

Il a jouait sur un des premiers albums de Ben Harper le fameux Jah Work
Mr Anderson, We shook hands one day in Nighttown Rotterdam, and the day after watching you play, I could play along with Bob, Peter, Bunny & The Wailers. My greatest gift I still enjoy today as much as 20 years ago and I am still proud and honored today that I shook hands with the most trustworthy Wailer and person Bob & Peter had the honor of working with. Keep playing and keep saving lives. Thanks brother Al, David For anyone reading my comment and who doesn't know so much about Mr Anderson: Mr Anderson is the leadguitar player on the famous Live! album best know for its live version of No Woman, No Cry. If you take a good look, he has his picture on the album. But also the original session player on the whole Natty Dread album. So HE made Bob Marley more famous. His own contribution to and with Bob Marley, Peter Tosh and music in general, makes him a living Legend who we all can still enjoy in our car, our house, at parties and concerts. This man and every other musician who had part in the band ''Bob Marley The Wailers'' deserves a place in The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame and the royalties and much more the RESPECT. I believe if you have over 2500000 people WAILING about it on Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, it will make some people willing to listen and react. Nowadays people seem to excuse themselves for having a history being part in the slave trading compagnies. So if Mister Whitewell has any dignity and humanity left inside of him, after reading this, he should be weeping and wailing, (tonight) ''Get up, stand up, dumb deaf and blind cripple'' - Peter Tosh (Captured Live & Dread August 22, 1983) ''It takes a revolution, to make a solution'' - Bob Marley & The Wailers (from the Natty Dread album: Revolution) Peace & justice to everyone.
Perfect title.
Thanks for this and please upload more!
