Missouri Pacific Sedalia Car shops yard. Home of the Mopac caboose
Sometimes referred to as Dog Houses, these very simple cabs (a square shack centered on top of a 40' underframe) were built mainly to replace the aging wood cabooses now used in yard service. MoPac had a small group built at its Sedalia shops in 1963-65 from old fishbelly underframes from cabs built in the 1920's (MP 13900-13929, TP 13930-13932, TP-MPT 13933-13935, which later was changed from 13xxx to 11xxx as number series were reserved for different assignments; 13000-series for Road service, 12000 for Local, and 11000 for Transfer). Often the transfer cabooses found a home in yards in Illinois, though they could be found spread thinly throughout the system. In the 1970's, when MoPac adopted it's new numbering system, all true transfer cabs were renumbered into the 11000-series by replacing the "3" with "1". By the mid 1980's, all were of the doghouses retired

Hello fellow railsim fans. Today I'm proud to announce the addition of the Burlington Northern leadbelt subdivision in Central Missouri now a part of the Missouri Pacific route of the Eagles. The railroad ran from Cuba Missouri to Bunker Hill in Central Miss...
The Birth of the new Mopac route ot the Eagles
มุมมอง 1564 หลายเดือนก่อน
Hello Mopac fans the year is 1984 and the Mopac is alive and well. As most of you know in 1982 the Missouri Pacific and the Union Pacific merged and that was the end of the Missouri Pacific. For a lot of us Mopac fans that was a very dark day. It was the end of an era for a very proud very unique railroad in the Midwest that believed in their employees. The Mopac continues to live on through th...

MOPAC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In the late 70’s I remember seeing these unique cabooses on the Milwaukee around Mason City, IA in regular road service. Always wondered what was going on. Can’t believe the Milwaukee was short of cabooses.

Also, I saw the C&EI rolling stock and made me smile... C&EI ran thru my home town, but before my time. Grew up watching the eagles go thru the center of town in the 70-80s. Your videos trigger some great nostalgic feelings.
Glade you enjoyed the video Joseph
This looks like a great route. Have you ever given thought to bringing this to the mobile version of Trainz? Either way, another great video, thank you!
I don't think a mobile devise would be able to run this very detailed route.
Its my Monster 4090 will do to run it
Yep, know the video, watched MTV... You even got the loco number to match! Great job.
Thank you Joseph glad you liked it

i really liked the big train meet of all the locos that was a bugger that it derailed
To think, that back in the Hooterville Cannonball & Shady Rest Hotel days, that branch to Pixley was about to be discontinued by Homer Bedlowe until Downing B. Jenks himself threatened to permanently re-assign Bedlow to the Pike Street Locomotive shops to clean and pump locomotive, caboose, & passenger car toilets! 🤣
This is great! Thanks. Your videos are perfect for a MoPac fan. Wish these were on Trainz 3 for mobile. Someday perhaps. The carnival is awesome!
