I recently watched this and really like it even though I didn't understand some of the conversation between Darcy and Elizabeth 😅 I enjoyed the chemistry between them. 💕The mother is overly dramatic. 🤦‍♀

Mrs. Bennett’s mood changes are hysterical 😂 She goes from practically cursing Bingley’s name and wishing to never meet him to crying tears of joy and squealing in delight when she hears that they will get to meet him

No future "Pride and Prejudice" series can ever beat this BBC superb achievement. Have fallen in love with Colin Firth after seeing him as Mr. Darcy :-) Pity he doesn´t know....

Excellent version! Perfect!! You fans of P&P should also see version 1980. Beautifully done with Lizzy younger aa she should look etc. There are more versions. You can watch all of them in TH-cam. But the 1995 and 1980 are the bests!!

The only version to watch. You cannot do the book justice in a movie length adaptation. Plus Kiera Knightly was an abomination.

Lizzie has been a lifelong role model for me. This version fits my imagination when reading the book several times in my youth. The sophisticated thinking of the juxtaposition of the characters and the grave negotiation of a relationship and the challenges of finding a lifelong mate.

Nope....although it's nicely done, this is NOT the "best version".... The very first thing that they got wrong was who they chose for Elizabeth. She looked too old. The acting was fine, but it was difficult for me to get past seeing her as young Lizzy, when she looked more like a 30 year old. Kira's version was much better in the acting, costumes, and the cast, in general.
