Gearbox Demonstration
The primary design functionally is to have a gearbox automatically cycle positions and have functional tachometers for detecting the rotational speed of the output and input shafts. This information is shown to users viewing the LCD displays and awaits manual button input to repeat the cycle. The primary goal of the demonstration is to allow repeatability, consistent function, and predictable outcomes within the encasement. This allows for an optimal educational presentation with the minimum possible amount of error and on demand function with little downtime.
