What a great idea choosing patterns from the same designer for a capsule. Itch to stitch is new to me and I haven’t tried any yet although I’m liking their aesthetic . Look forward to see your makes / opinions

My first independent designer pattern was the Envigado Vest by Itch to Stitch. I have made three of the Mountainview Jeans, and I’m currently working on the Andes Jacket. Thank you for the video and have lots of fun creating your capsule wardrobe.

This is a great video series. I have always wondered if her patterns are actually what she wears - they are all so wearable and flattering, I just imagine Kennis makes a wardrobe and then shares her patterns with us. I love Itch to Stitch

Are you actually going to sew all of the patterns? This is exciting. I always wonder how well a particular designer's patterns work together to make a capsule wardrobe. I hope you will do a vlog that shows all the ways you can style them together. I have all those patterns (lol. I think we usually have all the same patterns), and want to make them up. So I'm excited to see how yours goes.

What a fantastic series, fascinating for me as I only have one Itch to Stitch pattern! Barrel leg trousers are in this year according to my hairdresser but like you, I’m not sure they will suit me as I’m 5ft 2”😅. I can’t wait to see them all made up and see how you colour coordinate as that is where I struggle. Great job x

Thats a lovely combination. You’re going to get so much variety out of those components. I adore Itch to Stitch patterns, her and Love Notions are my two favourites. They have so many great patterns. I love your printed picture sheet! If i could work a computer I’d definitely copy that! 😜

What a great idea to have a plan. I need to do that. I made Upland Trousers in linen and they “grow” every time I wear them. I’ve taken them in more than once. Hopefully your linen is a tighter weave than mine.

Love the idea of a capsule from a indi pattern co, I have a few of the pattern so can't wait to see the finish capsule. Will keep an eye on the pattern results and will give me an idea of the other patterns that I could get. Thank you so much for this serie.

Great capsule wardrobe. I own a few Itch to Stitch patterns but have only sewn up one. The Foz is one of my TNT patterns. I can't wait to see your capsule come to life.

This is going to be good - look forward to seeing all those done! The Uplands are a lovely trouser - mine are very comfy in a linen/cotton mix (I left the back welt pockets off). I'm sure you'll manage to alter that neck from turtle to round. I need to get round to trying my other ITS patterns. Love that Sibiu top - might have to break my purchasing ban! Wish I'd discovered these patterns, and Pattern Emporium, long ago as they are very good patterns. Trouble is I have loads from other designers already and it's difficult to justify buying similar patterns.

One thing you do so well is coordinate your makes! Yes for me that jacket is my favourite and a bonus that you refashioned something to make it ❤. It's that colour and texture that I love so much. Ha ha like me I had to throw in a bonus item too 😂. I adore that cardigan, it doesn't look an easy knit to me at all!! So tempted to try knitting again this year. Thanks for sharing xx

All your garments are really lovely and coordinate perfectly. Love your cardigan and I would like to make one but unfortunately here in Queensland Australia, I would only get to wear it once or twice a year. My favourite and most worn makes for 2024 are the Pattern Emporium Urban Pants. I made 3 pairs in the various lengths and leg widths and they are the most comfortable pants I've ever worn. This Summer I'm also in love with my 2 Style Arc Parker Tunics made in a printed and a plain viscose, they are so cool and look so smart and I made them minus the little cap sleeve.❤

Some nice garments there - love the fleece jacket. I have been ordering from Pound Fabrics for about two years. Most of the time I find the fabric is nice, but I have had a couple of disappointments. I haven't yet tackled any of my Style Arc patterns - really must give them a try this year.

The Uvita shirt was my first taste of Itch to Stitch patterns as it was free at the time. I have not purchased the add-on yet, so I might do so. I like her patterns as they are very classic, but stepped up. Thanks for sharing.

Well... I think you and I will be doing a lot of sewing together. I have all of those patterns, and several more Itch to Stitch patterns. I love most of her patterns. Now I think of it, we have a lot of other patterns the same. Too bad I don't have a TH-cam channel. Lol. We could do a lot of collabs, which would have been great because I'm very tall and you are petite.

I made the Venado in a Merino jersey and it is my absolutely favourite top. Didn’t add the buttons so it looks like a lovely shawl collar. Love it!

I also watch Karina quite a lot, and love what she makes. I did like the Madalena top but did not buy it at the time. Love that you are buying summer patterns just now! I have four ITS patterns and have made two - Upland Trousers which came out very nice and fitted well (I didn't do the welt pockets), and a tank top, which was a free pattern, and I made a summer PJ top with that. I think the fit of her patterns is very good so far. I haven't explored all the patterns yet but you have some good ones there, at a good price too. I almost bought the Lagan coat recently, but it's still on my radar, if the current pattern I'm making doesn't turn out too good (Atelier Jupe Alex Coat - instructions leave a lot to be desired - it's a wearable muslin using some cheap fabric from pound Fabrics). I bought some nice wool from Fabworks in November - it was their Fabric of the Month offer - £8 a metre and it is lovely. Once I have made this muslin I will (hopefully) make the 'proper' coat using some wool fabric I bought from Fabworks last year - a special birthday offer with free lining and thread - and that was quite expensive so I am dreading cutting into that! Love the skirt and top combo. Look forward to seeing your makes. I have become quite a fan of Pattern Emporium patterns. Just ordered a couple of t-shirts in the Black Friday offer, including the Keep it Simple. I love a bit of linen - my Itch to Stitch Upland Trousers are very comfortable in a navy linen mix from Pound Fabrics. I don't normally batch cut - it would make me feel a bit twitchy with too much stuff to do. I've done two items in a batch, but I have a good sewing space with a big table so it's no issue to do things individually. I'm just browsing all the Black Friday fabric sales and I have just snagged a bargain on Fabworks with some 100% wool for £8 a metre - fabric of the month. It's a lovely blue/black subtle check. That will probably be a coat using the same pattern as one I (almost) have in progress with some very expensive fabric I bought from Fabworks last year.
