My favorite d-pad is on the Miyoo Mini Plus. Have you used that one? And if so, how does it compare to the Analogue Pocket? I'm very interested in the AP but I'm worried the controls aren't that great. And for the price, I need them to feel excellent

Personally, I've been enjoying my PlayStation portal. I think this update helped out a lot by finally fully fleshing out what should have probably already been there at its introduction. After I tinkered with my Wi-Fi settings a little bit, I literally have yet to receive any form of stuttering. It's so good that I can even play call of duty on it and that's shocked me cuz that's one of those high intensive games where you need to be having it almost no lag input

You jus earned a subscriber my wife got me one for Christmas man and I never heard of it. I got a ps5 but just knowing I can play games on the road via hotspot is crazy work. I just wish sports games will be on they would have me for ever.

I’m not trying to sound like I’m correcting you because I genuinely don’t know… it sounded like you said ps5 mirroring was faster without hiccups where streaming from the cloud there was more lag? Did you say this backwards or is this really the case? I thought cloud gaming would possibly remove some lag.

How does it work away from home? Will your console turn on? Because i played in bed and the PS5 was in Rest-Mode but it turned back on as soon as i used the Portal.

FPS games play fine streaming on other devices. Everyone bending over backwards for Portal. Sony needs to fix

Just got this today for Christmas. I also have a ROG Ally. In the cloud, the ROG Ally is nice and quick with doom eternal. Totally playable, no concern with latency. The portal on the other hand has just enough input latency to make it unplayable. Same WiFi network, the only difference is the hardware. I can’t find much info online about ways to reduce cloud input latency with the portal. The portal looks and feels great to hold, though.

Bought mine and it arrived yesterday and a porch pirate stole it. It was on Christmas Eve. 😢

I am currently using PS Portal with a cross-country network. The Singapore internet is awesome as it can upload 25-50mbps for international traffic. It has less than 1-second latency, and I use the portal to play New World and Astro Bot. My router is custom-built OpenWRT with QoSify configured to handle remote play traffic. Your home internet must be able to handle minimum 35mbps upload if you want a smooth gaming experience 😊

I got the portal only because of the cloud streaming and I’m playing even doom on it. There’s a small lag but the game is still very playable and much better experience compared to cloud streaming from PC

When is cloud play coming to Australia?

He helped me make my decision at 1:30 when he said he doesn’t recommend it for Fortnite which is why i returned my ps portal 2-3 months ago because of this devices latency issue, had nothing to do with my WiFi speeds because i took my Internet speeds up to a higher plan.
