I finally decided to bite the bullet and start my TH-cam Channel. This is something I have wanted to do for a very long time, but I just have been too nervous to post anything. I know this isn't a perfect video by any means, but it was fun to film and edit and I'm excited to learn more as time goes on.
Kobo seems a solid allround choice with this unit. I will buy it for my 7 year old daughter.
I am so upset my Oynx Storm is full of errors on my Kobo. However, my Kindle the book is perfect.

Thanks for the video. Always interesting to see how someone gets on after using a new device for a while. I use an 8bitdo micro controller for my kobo for remote page turns. Works like a charm. 😊

The clicker works fine with the kobo by attaching it to the thinner side not the side with the buttons, because it autorotates it works perfectly on that side with the Bluetooth clicker. It appears u have turned auto rotate off so u could just turn it on whenever u want to position it in the holder then turn it back off after. Glad you’re enjoying your kobo.
I think it might be the version of the clicker I have since I still have to adjust the margins no matter which side I have it clipped to. It definitely works better when there isn't a case on it (I think in the video I have the clear case on it), but without a case on. it still cuts off two letters, haha. I have it locked on the portrait rotate since I never read in landscape mode; I love that feature because I do switch which hand holds it constantly, but it would sometimes flip to landscape mode before switching back to portrait mode. I totally should have mentioned that you can select that because that is an awesome feature too.

The Kobo case that includes the word “Notebook” in the name has a groove that allows the stylus to be carried within the case. At the time that I ordered, this case was not available on Amazon. I ordered directly from Kobo. I’m looking forward to your review of the Kobo and a comparison to the restrictive Kindle ecosystem. Thanks for a thoughtful video.
Yes! So, I actually filmed this video in September (working on an update video now) and I ended up finding the notebook case and purchasing it. I wish it came in more fun colors, but it definitely keeps the pencil secure.
I'm waiting for mine to arrive ... My first e-reader!
