Its traditional proscenium arch and intimate auditorium make it the perfect venue for drama, family shows, comedy, music and variety. The theatre is serviced by its own dressing rooms, licensed bar and refreshment facilities with seating for up to 382 people and has seen many celebrities including , Lee Evans, Jack Dee, Alan Carr and Cilla Black to name a few.The Hazlitt theatre is a traditional proscenium-arch theatre with a stage of 6.4m (W) x 8m (D) x 4.5 (H).The Hazlitt Theatre also has an orchestra pit, fly tower, film screen and full lighting and sound facilities. I love how there's this little 45 second bit of bespoke comedy by ABK, here on this tiny channel, with fewer than 100 views at time of writing. I feel like a scholar of some great and ancient cultural icon who has oncovered a scrap of new material wedged between the pages of a dusty tome in some dimly lit chamber.
