Stop Killing The Messenger
This is a trailer for my documentary about dangers of being a journalist in the Philippines. Since 1986, 177 journalists have been killed in this country. The most tragic case is Maguindanao Massacre, where 58 people were slaughtered. Ironically, 38 of the were journalists. They trapped on a local politic candidacy.
A survivor journalist talks when the tragedy happened and how this affecting his entire life.
the film was taken on 2014-2015, sadly, today it is still relevant.
Thanks to SEAPA, TRANS7 Indonesia and PCIJ Philippines
