I battled every trainer legitimately too, I just didn't record anything besides boss battles. When I recorded this I had to prop up a crappy webcam to use to record my TV. I also own Red, Blue, and Yellow. Perhaps in the future I'll do another ditto run, and stream it or something, but that's when I get a better set up and perhaps a direct feed.

If you want better quality of the Ditto Run, watch Pokemon Blue Ditto Boss Battle Marathon. Unlike your run, I battled every Pokemon Trainer legitimately and I own Pokemon Blue. You may like it.

If you run into a magikarp, you would copy the magikarp. It would come with 2 attacks (depending on level), and you would get 5 PP of each. They have infinite PP, so you'd probably either kill them with tackle or end up struggling. X items would be good here.

I used to have a GB player, but I don't remember that function. :V However, I traded it in back in 2010 or so, I don't really remember the options that much besides changing the frame around the game. :V

He's playing on the Game Boy Player attachment for the gamecube. It allows game boy games up to games released on the GBA to be played through the gamecube and therefore through the TV. It's been a while since I've played on mine, so I'm not sure, but you can probably double the speed through an option setting (you can see the "Z Button: Options" trigger up in the corner; that opens up options for the player, not for the game).

...The normal colors are not inverted in the original Japanese pokemon games. You can apply a palette swap on any Gen-I game (International RBY as well as the Japan-only RBG) by hitting a direction on the D-pad and either A or B when turning on the gameboy (when the 'Gameboy' logo pops up). Hitting, I believe, right and B together applies a palette inversion like the one above.

It looks kind of glitched when Ditto uses Transform, it is shown moves from 5/maximum PP of the moves it copied PP. What I see in Generation V, the copied moves have 5/5 PP. I can tell as of this video.

The color is inverted because I was recording it from a webcam and that's how it would best show up without a large black bar scrolling down the screen.

An interesting thing is if you have a pokemon poisoned in red/blue/yellow and you pause it with an emulator when it shudders the colors look inverted like they do in the original Japanese pokemon editions.

@RaysBlayde I had all of the people unlocked, but the game took them away on the first day of spring leaving me 3 of the nine before that. It is now summer and the city hall and six trainers are still missing, so I have no clue what the problem is
