The Landscape Architecture Foundation is 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Washington, DC. LAF was founded in 1966 with the mission to protect, improve, and enhance the environment. LAF invests in research scholarships, and leadership initiatives to increase our collective capacity to achieve sustainability.

Meet the 2024 LAF National Olmsted Scholar Finalists (Undergraduate)
In 2024, 52 graduate and 42 undergraduate landscape architecture students were nominated by their program faculty for their exceptional leadership potential. From these 2024 Olmsted Scholars, two independent juries selected two National Olmsted Scholars and six National Olmsted Scholar Finalists, who receive financial awards and additional recognition.
