She just had a mental breakdown, they promised she’ll be first place if she did 5 squads and she did 5 squads but still got 2nd place, she was always 2nd place in previous competition and now she’s at the age where young figure skater like her might retire.

Horrible behaviour but she's a young teenager in an impossible sport being with abusive coaching staff treating their girls like robots. She's been influenced to believe that winning gold is the only way to happiness and she doesn't have the life experience yet to teach her that her worth is so much more. Thus, this mental breakdown is the result. Is it an unsportsman like moment? Yes. Is it a human moment? Yes. Hopefully she was able to re-frame things mentally after this to move forward with positivity.

Pretty sure Eteri forces them on puberty blockers to keep them small and child like, claiming smaller bodies do better on the ice. And they do, *to a point.* There’s such a thing as being so small and frail that you can’t land any jumps for risk of breaking bones
Plus, if they hate it, they're not going to do as well. These things should be fun. Grinkov and Gordevia loved skating & each other. They won many awards including becoming double gold medalists.
She did not do 5 quads, she only did 2, others were not rotated and not landed properly. Anna did 2 quads and one C-level cascade, lutz+loop. The choreography of Anna is obviously better than anyone else. Anna Shcherbakova is the true Olympic Gold medalist.
If you consider 2 quads were not rotated correctly for Sasha then you shoud say that Anna has 0 quads, her tecnic is worse than Sasha (in the entrance) and she prerotate her quads even more than Sasha, the problem is the same. Anna's don't deserve + 100 in technique.

If the judges were actually fair Sasha wouldn't have even podiumed nor would have Anna. How did Sasha end up in 4th place after falling on her triple axel in her free skate while Wakaba who should have won, had the cleanest short and was heavily under-scored for her CLEAN triple. Judges gave her under rotations for jumps that were fully rotated and deprived her of multiple PCS. The judges always favor Russians and it's ironic how you guys only claim that the judges are rigged when your favs don't win.
