With cultural events around the world cancelled, cultural institutions closed, and community cultural practices suspended because of COVID-19, more than ever it is important to celebrate world Cultural Diversity Day.
If you value Diversity in all its forms, then take action today to make opportunities to stimulate and hear different ways of seeing and feeling, without which cultural diversity is diminished, and humanity will be the poorer for it.
Held every year on May 21st, the World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development celebrates not only the richness of the world's cultures, but also the essential role of intercultural dialogue for achieving peace and sustainable development.
