I feel you are lacking perspective to think this is good advice for time/place/circumstance/law. In the USA and increasingly in other regions, in many inhabited areas, there is a lot of small debris in roadways and near/on sidewalks. Metal nails, broken glass, sharp bits of plastic, etc. It does little good to have devotees getting infections on their feet and being unable to walk because you have some issue with clothing, or because you live in a rural region where this is currently normalized. This is not to take a theological position, and maybe more attention to footwear is important in some regard, but otherwise, please consider the world we live in when you offer advice.

​​@@critter5248well there are many worst roads in India , but people don't wear shoes while chanting god's name in the street, if you have a doubt on that then you should go through bramhotsavas and ratha Yatra in south india, they don't wear slippers , I hope you consider this, well in tough situations people use shoes often while going to temple but I saw they are wearing shoes on a clean pavement in the streets of urban areas, you should consider a reason for wearing shoes on road, devotion is the ultimate principe in Vaishnavism, I hope you are a vaishnavite,so you should also read the agamas of santhana dharma,you will understand it

@@critter5248 in India the roads are all filled with trash things, now even in India people don't wear shoes in roads in bramhotsavas and rathatras, I saw them chanting the name of God by wearing slippers in the pavements of urban areas, but I suggest them to wear atleast socks which are better in worst cases, but I purely accept that they did a great job, or even more by chanting his name, I hope they will get the blessings of lord vasudeva

@@Srinivasaramanujadas socks are not always addressing the health and safety concerns here. I believe you mean well, but trying to advise people who are taking an action for their health and safety to not do that - when you may not be entirely informed on the matter - is discussion-able. You might get younger devotees who then feel some guilt that they are 'feeling corrected' on something that, I'm not sure you are exhibiting proper authority to relate to them nor was it emphasized by **their** gurus, and that again, time/place/circumstances/law might take priority over the shastric recommendation you might feel you're referring to.

@@prabhupadapriyadevidasi4033 mam sorry my mobile got discharged ,and i couldnot right whole thing , actually i spent alnost 2 hours today that why lord krishna steal cloths of gopi.

@@prabhupadapriyadevidasi4033 mam i read bhagvatam today and found that krishna never talked about shyness in actually gopis said why to shy in front of our lord ,he knows all about our body snd mind .

@@prabhupadapriyadevidasi4033 but in actual krishna said gopis were doing offence against demigods and laws of living ,snd never wanted thst culture to proceed .so he told gopis to ask for forgiveness to bath naked ,
