Where was the coupling impact at 1:00 heard in the film?
going off what the sound effects wiki said, the sound plays when the hand car re-couples the observation car towards the end of the film, but in the film a similar sound (or heavily edited version) plays.
I love watching movies or TV with English subtitles and audio description because those two things help me understand what the people or characters are saying and they help me figure out what’s happening throughout the films or shows/series/programs
I bet they’d become really neat effects/filters to invent
Plus it’ll be my very own um younger or/and older school class/subject technique, invention, trick, experiment, activity, game or project
And sometimes it feels no matter how much the same as/like/different than coloring/activity books/pages/sheets, game books, playgrounds, play areas or anything else I enjoy with my autistic imagination, creativity, talents, vocabulary, multitaskings, brainstormings, inspirations, artwork and… architecture

the sound designers worked with the 1225 for recording a good amount of the sound effects (chugging particularly)

Every December, I think of this movie and it still holds its spot as one of my favorite Christmas movies of all time. For some reason, I absolutely adore the visual and sound design that went into this movie. I loved the nerve-wracking sound of chugging of the train gradually slowing while climbing up the hill before Flat Top Tunnel. I even loved the part where the observation car gets disconnected. No overly dramatic music needed, just pure panic while you hear the train car creak and groan while gaining momentum, then screeching and squealing as it reaches high speeds. The music is so wonderful too, particularly with the usage of echoing, distant Christmas songs while the trio are lost in Santa's large and creepily empty factory which reinforced the feeling of isolation as well as the feeling you get when leaving a building that's about to close for the night, when no one is around anymore. I also found myself occasionally looking at the concept art for the movie, especially the architecture and design found in the later-half of the movie.
Couldn’t agree more with this, I rewatched this film recently and it truly has a haunting ascetic that I can’t help but love.

That is the loudest whistle I've ever heard.
You think that’s loud, listen to a long bell 3 chime whistle. Those are some of the loudest whistles fitted to a steam locomotive.

very true, it gives of the vibe of that it's the only locomotive that could pull of a feat so remarkable, the sound designers wanted it to sound like it's very tough and a little alive... and the results are incredible.
@@thefatgoji4348 I have a theory/headcanon that Doc Brown is the one who designed and built such a remarkable piece of technology. It does have a flux capacitor in its control hub. 👀 I also think that the engineers are his grandchildren who decided to carry on his legacy by using the train to take kids to the North Pole every year.
@@jackcapellini113 I like that idea, there is so much mystery to the world of this film that you could come up with many theories that can make a rewatch every holiday season even better.
