Serengeti Day One, July 12, 2023

Our first day game drive in the Serengeti didn't disappoint. We saw the inspiration for Pride Rock, happened on some dozing lions, and had lunch with elephants. We couldn't have asked for more.

One year ago we were blessed with 3 beautiful days of Mt. Kilimanjaro showing off for us. During one game drive we stopped to watch this herd of elephants, mamas, babies, teens, all playing under Kilimanjaro's gaze. Couldn't have been more magical.

This trip was a GoAhead Tours trip to Kenya and Tanzania. They put together an amazing trip with wonderful guides from Sense of Africa. We couldn't have asked for more.

Celebrity needs to update its Solstice-class ships. We sailed on the Equinox in January, and it was in extremely poor shape.
I would agree but don't believe that is in the short term plans.
I’ll be on the Eclipse mid February sailing to Antarctica. Thanks for being current so that I can see what to expect.
