They used the engine cover of the 26. People usually do it because it looks nicer than the 25 and older ones are fully metal. You can tell it's a 25 because it has 2 sensors on the front. 26 only has 1 sensor on front right side.

Every dyno reads differently. If I post numbers I get 20 people crying that the numbers are either too high or too low.

Most bolt on ls1's on the 91 octane we get here and at our elevation on multiple local dynos only do about 300-310.

My factory stock 2002 Camaro SS M6 with SLP 345HP package. Which has the Blackwing Lid and CME exhaust. On a Dynojet. Put down 332HP and 346TQ.

Yes and no. 2002 will be gen 3, this had a gen 4 set up. So it's stronger, but a 150 shot isn't too crazy if tuned right. Seen lots hold. Some not.

I have been out a few times in it and love it, but I had some pretty not so great life events happen and haven't been feeling going out to record really. I'll get some videos this fall/winter.

If you only care about the 1/4 mile and strength/ reliability, do the 4l80e. The 6 speed is night and day for drivability and fun factor, in my opinion.

Also not sure on the trans tunnel, I just tuned it and didn't inspect it too much.

I think 16 or 17 and up came with it? If not whoever owned it before me added it in.

That's an amazing story. Your data must be more accurate than mine as I'm sure you run a dyno shop, own a dyno, and do mutiple tests daily at the same atmospheric pressure, with the same fuel, on the same dyno? Or do you just like telling cool stories?

It really depends on the dyno. On qn older dynojet it would hit 400, on a newer one like mine or a mustang dyno, I don't think it would. I would select it more on your plans for how your want to use it and drive it? How do you use the car? Daily, weekend, only track, miles put on per year etc.

4l80 kills power, even locked up. Maybe but I would say anything over 520-550 would be awesome on a mustang dyno. Might hit 600 on an old old dynojet

@@barnyardgarage8205 yea I knew it eats a lot...god a buddy similar build that hit 500/500 on a 408ci same dyno unported LS3 heads...we shall see... I ready I really need an aluminum super drum at my RPM...so maybe that would help some day....
