RMS Mulheim - Exploring a Shipwreck in Cornwall
มุมมอง 5K5 ปีที่แล้ว
On March 22, 2003, the 90 meter long, 2,500 dwt cargo vessel RMS Mülheim was on a typical voyage. The Mülheim had departed from Cork, Ireland and was proceeding to Lübeck, Germany with 2,200 tons of scrap plastics from automobiles. During the early morning, the Mülheim was off Land’s End along Cornwall‘s coast. Visibility was good with only a small amount of patchy fog. The officer on watch had...

The Black Mountain - Overnight bivvy and a hike
Great standard of pictures you guys except early on when i nearly got motion sickness on me sofa from the body-cams! Crazy to think those great cavernous holes were created by black powder & many hammers, many, many hammers! Massive employers of men in their day, up to 3000 in that area alone i believe. Important part of our shared British industrial heritage, there's an old saying "That North Wales roofed the World!" & when you visit these gigantic quarries + see the waste rock left behind it's easy to believe! Diolch.
What type of mushrooms
Cool!
Some nice shots deserves more views
I’m usually scrambling in Snowdonia but might give this some attention soon. Looks like a fun smash and grab scramble!!
Nice one! Looks soft for a 3 😉 Drove past it a while back. Looks like a nice afternoon 😁 Great video!
Might have a go next time its sunny. Have either of you done Kinder Downfall? I had a go last summer when it was bone dry.
Hi. Have a go at this it's good fun. I haven't done Kinder Downfall. I will search it up and check it out
Great vid. I’m going down there to film for my channel tomorrow, as I live nearby. Right on!
Thank you. It is a pretty cool place to explore. I'll look forward to watching yours
@@outdoorchav8684 yeah looking forward to it, thanks
I went to see it a couple of weeks ago. I wish I'd climbed onto the ship more and seen the bridge now, having seen this. You were braver than me. It's a strange place. Even though nobody died the whole wreck has an air of death about it. Don't know if you felt that too?
@@davidcottam7431 no
@@MannoulaZ I was asking the poster.
Send me location on Google plz
where exactly did you camp in this video?
Somewhere between Boulderwood and Emery Down
@@outdoorchav8684 Thanks for the response. Could you be more specific in any way? Also, do you have any advice for camping there, for example, where did you park, where did to enter the forest?
@@aaronmaliqi2235 don't know where exactly but we parked at Emery Down outside the church, walk down the road a couple of miles towards Boulderwood. When you see the random fireplace on the grass head in to the woods. You will find loads of places that are perfect for hammocking. Never had any issues in the New Forest, just make sure you park in villages overnight and not the carparks.
@@outdoorchav8684 thanks mate, really helpful
@@aaronmaliqi2235 No problem. Enjoy. Hope you have a good one
I’ve hiked past that ridge a thousand times and it’s never even crossed my mind to scramble up there. Quality 👌🏻
I had drove past many times also. It really is an exciting climb. Its only short as well so you can do it a few times
Im scared on knocking something of and causing chaos in the road below. Is it loose, or is it pretty solid?
@@purplemonkeydishwasher5269 you’ll not nock nobody off there isn’t any room for two people to be Side by side on it. Nor will anyone be coming down that way. I do believe it’s not that polished so there should be quite a lot of grip under foot. I would say on a damp day tho it would be really slippy.
@@Indigenous-English-Man Thanks, I as more concerned about stones/rocks falling on the cars below :) I suppose if I fall off at least theres plenty of people to scrape me off the tarmac
This is not shrooms you prolly ate some poisonous shit and blacked out. Cus shrooms never do that.
Sinister gully not my favourite place!!
I loved it. Its a great route
@@outdoorchav8684 bit dangerous without a rope!
I used to live in Bleanau. The quarry looks like Rhiw Bach.
Not sure. Just exploring
I am looking at doing this with a few mates but am struggling to find a place to leave the cars overnight as most car parks don’t allow this. Any suggestions? What did you do ?
Use the little villages. Emery Down. Burley. Fritham. These are places I've used
What did the shroom taste like?
Can't remember. I seemed to blackout afterwards
Lol sure^
Outdoor Chav that uh.. that doesnt happen....
What a stroke of luck, finding an old shed to bivvy in! I've never had such luck, the odd time I've forgotten tent poles. Area looks fantastic, must check it out!
I was hoping to camp near the top but saw these old quarry buildings. Was an amazing place. Would definitely recommend
Great video👌, i saw this wreak from the cliff top in 2008, great to see up close, thanks for the upload
Cracking adventure mate 👍
Cheers mate. It was amazing waking up in the mountains. A good bit of time spent on my own
great video and great choice of routes too
Cheers. Milestone Gully definitely makes the start of Tryfan more interesting
Great to see some others that wild camp in the New Forest. Always up for a meet with others from the area.
Im always pottering about in the New Forest. Just did another one thus week. New video coming soon. Where abouts do you go?
@@outdoorchav8684 Still exploring currently as I can't walk far, but hoping to find a place that I can take the kids wild camping.
Great little video. Fair play to you all!
Cheers mate👍
May I use a small part where you eat the mushroom for a music video? Not for profit.
Sure. No probs
Thank you, I will make sure to link this video to it and share with you here. :)
Hi mate, loved the filming super job👍🏻Looked a great camp Enjoyed watching Atvb Mike
Cheers mate. I got myself a gimbal, so was trying out some different filming techniques. Hopefully future vids will be getting better
@@outdoorchav8684 Awesome! Look forward to watching
+1 and like :) very good video !
Cheers
@@outdoorchav8684 hey Where is it exactly if u remember?
@@mati90gw don't exactly know. I just stumbled across it
A real slog that climb! I carried on and did Carnedd Dafydd and Llewelyn and Yr Elen then back down the quarry Rd. 11 miles and 2 sore feet! 👍
It was a slog. Not helped by the bottle of rum the night before
Outdoor Chav bottle??!! Lol 😂
Great vid and an interesting way up Carnedd Dafydd! The walk from Dafydd to Llewellyn and onto Yr Elen is fantastic, I was up there last week but weather was clear for me. I was thinking I wouldn’t like to do do it in poor visibility so well done. 👍
Would've have been a more interesting way up if we could see and had taken the correct route. Still enjoyed it though, i just love being on the mountains
Awesome vid mate, very mystical and beautiful footage of the mountains.... Atvb Mike
Cheers mate. Felt like we was walking into the abyss
what a lovely spot to camp, the trek up looked very steep and awkward to climb but well worth it for that spot to camp in and take in the views. what was the make of the bivi you used? thanks for sharing.
There were so many good places to camp it was quite a cool mountain. My bivvy bag was one that i bought grom an army suplus store. Real hardwearing and better quality than ones from an outdoor shoo
Loved it!!! My brother went here yesterday too! Views from your hotel 😂😂 looked amazing!! Keep up the good work!!
Pixels In The Sky cheers mate. One of my favourite overnighters. Good weather too, for a change
Haha! Great to see you all having a great wild camp.... Take care Atvb Mike
Black Country Woodsman cheers. We often have a boozy one at this location. Thought I'd film this one

Black Country Woodsman food was good. A bit too much alcohol though
Wow!! Didn’t the weather change so fast!! I’ve subbed to you!!! Keep up he videos!!! You got anymore places to explore?
Pixels In The Sky cheers. Got so many ideas for exploring but nit enough time to do it all
Breathtaking views mate👍 Did you go far down what looked like an old slate mine? Can tell you guys had a great time.... Atvb Mike
Black Country Woodsman Couldnt get far down the mine cos there was a a locked gate. Had a great time exploring tho
Outdoor Chav Can tell mate...Cool video....Keep em coming 👍
Up there again this weekend..hate crib Goch..every time I do it, I say never again !!!! but return we do !!!
Another great video - went up Tryfan last year too - couldnt see a bloody thiing and almost wound up climbing the next mountain over - whoops.!
Great video mate - love dartmoor. I love the bleakness of Okehampton side. If you dont mind I'm sharing this vid to a playlist on our channel - hopefully it'll help get you some extra subs and views.
