Pretty nice gun. I’m anxious for you to try it out. If you really want to make that trigger light, take out the trigger spring and cut down an ink pen spring and put in place of it. I’ve used one in my ruger 22-250 for several years. If it’s too light, put the factory back in.

Great video! Thanks for the info. The action should work pretty seamlessly. If the cylinder is not turning with the hammer being locked back it might have a burr. Rock island is really good at standing behind products. You can contact them and they will fix any issues.

Mine was produced between 1922-1927, belonged to my grandfather, who got it back in the 80’s and I got it when he passed away around 2000. Love this gun; light and powerful enough to stop bad people! 👍

I know this video was made 7 years ago, so the ammo may have very well gone downhill since.... but from my experience now in 2024, it's the worst ammo I've used yet... one failure after another, one failed extract after another (same 115 FMJ 9mm). I'll run back to back Federal, then Blazer, then go to Winchester white box, and it'll fail after fail... then go back to Federal and Blazer, never a single fail.... running through a very reliable gun as well, Sig P229 SAO Legion, so it's not a gun problem. I have a good 70 rounds left and I'll never touch it again and never buy it again.

Overpriced ammo and calibur for sure.. I also have both of the same.. Well, my father has one in his collection and the ammo... Might have to actually go shoot it some time just to see how it works out as a potential purse carry gun for my 78 year old Mom... Hope it actually feeds well more than a lot of curiosities... I certainly wouldn't carry it unless it is the last thing, or only firearm I had.. Then I'd be mean with it!

I’ve shot blazer brass quite a bit and never had any problems with it. I saw some of your brass had rust or something on it, but I’ve Never had that problem. It’s inexpensive ammo that shoots relatively clean. It’s Not match grade ammo but good for target shooting I Wouldn’t use it for anything other than practice but I only use hollow point for carry or home defense. I know you think it’s a dirty round but I’ve found it’s Much cleaner than Remington or Winchester. Magtech, Aguila, and Fiochi are probably the best as far as being cleaner ammo, but usually more expensive.

Nice video, but those aren't two different guns. They're both Glocks. Try a Glock and Smith and Wesson or a Sig or Ruger. Certain guns are more picky with ammo and work well with some, and not with others. Looks like this is great with Glocks. Would like to see how it fairs with other guns.

They are obviously little older, just looking at that box design.. And the brass is dirty, because of how they were stored, they don't come dirty, when new. And the 'Steel' cases you are referring too, are Nickel Plated Brass, ARE Premium, compared to the brass only cases.
