Welcome to Fantastic Fans!
Here you will see all sorts of ceiling & portable fan related content. Maybe with some lighting mixed in. I usually upload weekly demos and will upload catalogs and public sightings off and on. I have collected fans & their catalogs for years and I try to provide the best fan advice and info as possible so if you have a question or have corrections to what is noted in a video, just let me know.
Thanks for visiting!

Some Exciting Updates & The Hopeful Continuation Of Content!
So yeah, plans changed again and I will explain it in this video, but the biggest thing is that content will still be getting put out after January! There is no more temporary halt as of now. After that I explain the projects I have been working on and you will see just how little I have left to do! Thanks for watching and I am so glad I do not need to go on break yet!

What fan is that next to the white and brass motor at 18:12?
@@demarkusthompson2867 the silver cylinder is a Fanimation Zonix Wet Custom, The chrome thing is a FASCO Decorator and the big white thing is a Beverly Hills Aurora. Wasn’t sure which one so thats all of them!
It's not just you, I've been messing with mine on and off for the last couple of days, and had to find a video on how to assemble it 😂
I bought a set of the formula 4s brand new in the box last year for $40 on Facebook, the were missing the grills as expected but they sound amazing on my sansui au-717!
My first speakers were Fomula 4's! Kinda miss them.)
My top 2 from them would be the duplo dinamico with a tech lighting pendant and the Brisa 2000
That's a nice fan
For a farmhouse fan I don’t mind the look of it it’s an earlier one too
Hey Mr FANtastic i need some help picking ceiling fans. I have 12' ceilings that are wood timbers from an old mill building. I need 3 ceiling fans with lights built in because there are no other ceiling lights. The ones i have right now are more modern with a gu10 halogen bulb in them. They have 3 36" blades which i think is too small for the height. They also need to be lowered about 4' from the ceiling because of vent pipes. i would like the light to be dimmable and the light and fan speed to be controlled by remote. Thanks in advance i am in the usa best country in the world Jon Madden Esquire XI
@@JonasMaddenEsquire Kichler makes a fan called the Rana that would be a good choice.
I want that Barolo
Man I want that antique brass Ventura
I wonder when the Ainsworth came out? Must have been in the 2010s
@@itzbryceodell 2012, that fan was seen as the start of Casablanca’s downfall.
I just need to get my hands on a Capistrano since I already have a Lanai and a Wailea as well
Bro! That light for the Astro Look Sick! Also I’ll be going to Green Bay around the 21st. I’ll keep you updated whenever I go to Minneapolis.
The good old Vintage Ceiling Fans are one of my favorites
you really are into ceiling fans 😂. bro you're pretty freakin awesome
Can you donate this fan to me it’s located in hardy springs road in McAlester Oklahoma
@@CharizardVHSGamer1995ndchannel I wouldn’t recommend posting your whereabouts online like that, it’s not safe.
So does this fan supposed to use one of those black cast mounting piece the ball fits into ? . or does it just ride in that top cover. then just the 3 cover bolts would be only thing holding fan up ??? I just got one of these for free.
@@wh877 there should be a circular gold mounting plate that screws to the electrical box, the ball sits in the canopy and as a failsafe there is a hook on the ball that goes in a loop on the mounting plate. So hang the hook in the loop, and connect wires. There should be a red arrow sticker in the canopy and the ball, make sure they line up. Then hold the canopy up, it will take the motor with and line up the 3 screw holes, I would start all 3 by hand and go back and use a screwdriver after. Then just attach blades if not already done and add the switch housing. If you are still having trouble, put the model number into Hunters website and there should be a manual to use.
Whatever happened to all the ceiling fan catalogs on the Iheartfans website?
The marrakesh looks incredible! (one in wi for sale rn) I would love to have that fan
@@theogceilingfanman I saw that one
Are you going to get it?
@@theogceilingfanman god no, way too far and I think I will end up dead if I bring another fan home. Already starting to worry that I may have too much
Bummer. Maybe Dan spiffy can get it? I know he’s based there
@ not nearby, I don’t think he has an interest either
I like the sea coast/wilderness
It’s a really amazing fan
Very interesting I’m curious to see with some of the models that Home Depot is selling having such low inventory if they’re gonna replenish it or if it’s just a clearance of the Kathy Ireland label inventory and what exactly will continue in new production. I do know a couple models were being sold from, a company based in Florida in Fort Lauderdale, which is where king of fans who was Emerson’s OEM for a lot of models was selling on Amazon stuff. The hard part was is if you needed a down rod or light kit or whatever piecing something that matches together.
I remember when some of the Kathy Ireland fans went to Parrot Uncle. It's really nice to see the Kathy Ireland lineup recirculating again. If those Kathy Ireland fans recirculate in showrooms, I'd be all over their fan division living on. Just hoping they could keep BladeSelect and that quirky K55 EcoMotor used with the Crown and Premium Select Eco since that's like a callback to the 1980s when they had GE Superfan motors. And also hoping they keep the optional AL200 uplight. Would love to get an optional uplight for the Penbrooke someday.
I enjoy these ceiling fan discussion videos! I may have asked about this before, but do you know what happened to Fanimation and all the cool fans they used to make? They used to have so much cool stuff back in the 2000s, such as the Islanders, Palisades, Treventis, Louvres, Brewmasters, Bourbon Streets (and more), cool blade sets, finishes, light kit glassware and not to mention coordinating light fixtures. Nowadays, they have a bland product line, and right now Fanimation just simply... exists... without much interesting or exciting stuff to offer (especially with the recent discontinuation of the Islander). The answer may be as simple in that people's tastes have just changed, but it's sad to see the company as sort of a shell of its former self.
@@nathanjoseph4284 Tom Frampton stepped down as head to let Nathan take over and he had different visions I can imagine. The truth is, Fanimation was such a niche company that didn’t appeal to everyone, chances are if they didn’t do what they did they would have failed eventually
@@FANtasticFans82 That makes sense.
@@FANtasticFans82 I agree it’s a shame they didn’t keep more of their legacy products I mean I get the modern industrial and farmhouse look is ok but it’s like everyone slashed their traditional offerings. I was at Home Depot the other day buying a replacement remote with someone and they were like there’s nothing normal looking. I’m point people to gulf coast at this point as my go to. Hunters done a good job of keeping stuff look somewhat traditional even there more modern stuff.
When are you going to post the 2004 Casablanca catalog
@@theogceilingfanman Don’t have that or 2005 so never, 2006 will be next week
That’s how ceiling fans were built when they were built well.
WAT
Emerson recessed the snap switch in the nose with the Longnose
@@michaelbouthiller6094 Thats it, I thought I saw an R&M that did too
My GE is from 1919 and it does have the famous GE vents but the top has Hunter Original vents
@@michaelbouthiller6094 I wonder when they transitioned over to this model? Probably around the mid 20’s
0:59 they’ve been using that jingle since Dan “Spiffy” Neumann was a kid.
2:33 this fan is actually similar to the Centennial
I have those exact blades, except mine are the standard ones and they are the dark Ratton blades
