Big bore. That's what I would like to do to my American. It's a 2002, 800 cc. I would very much like to increase it to 1000cc Do they make a kit?

Hey y'all, don't look at the nail head to determine which way to face the nail because sometimes (very rarely actually) the insignia on the nail head will be on there backwards. Better to just look at the bevel to determine which way to face the nail.

That one's going pasture for the next 6 months I take it because he cracks the outer wall in a soso place for no good reason. That is with the left front corner of the left front being a stopping point not a pushing point. And as a marriage is not fight that gives her a little reasons to damage that toenail

Where did you get the headlight grill? Finding one online that fits a 2003 Speedmaster seems impossible!

Great effort... Thanks... Nothing was mentioned about compression ratios...🤔 and with the description you've give, one would expect it to resemble exhaust notes of a 900 Nuda...really...

Nice customization! I have an '05 Speedmaster here in Colorado that I bobbed the rear tail, added a Harley "tombstone" tail/brake light, pulled those ugly tangerine turn signals and replaced with small smoked lens signals, D & D pipes, airbox removed, Corbin "snake skin" look seats. The airbox and pipes increased rear wheel by 13 hp. Next will be new cams. I love customizing my machine. Thanks for sharing!

When you showed the straight bars I had visions of a contortionist... until I got to the bit about forward controls gone. Would love to do the same, if only I had the smarts.

Hey mate have you got any photos up close of the controls as in where you have mounted them. I've been wanting to do the same thing on my 08 America. As I find the forward controls uncomfortable

Pitching the nails is tricky to get the right grab. 2 ways to aim. 1. Hold a nail outside the shoe against the hoof. Try to match the angle it is lying when you aim your nail. 2. Place your index finger on the spot of the hoof where you want the nail to break out. Try to aim your nail where you think your finger nail is. If your nail is almost home and has not broken out, pull it and with a new nail bend the tip out a little which should make it break out quicker. A light tap drives deeper, a hard hit bends the tip more and can make it curve out through the wall.

Nice custom bike making a good bike even better in many ways! I totally agree with reducing the weight to help the power to weight ratio. In a word..Inspirational! Made some custom parts for my Speedy but might borrow some of your ideas..Thanks for sharing Man. Cheers

Good job mate, isn't funny in the sixties we use to scream out for lots of chrome but we couldn't afford it. The motorcycle manufacturers use to put a limited amount of chrome on their bikes but it wasn't enough. Now they do put loads of chrome on their manufactured machines people don't want it how times have changed. My brother purchased a 1942 Harley WLA ex army hand gear change on the petrol tank and foot clutch in 1963 still in army colours for £5-00 he stripped it down had all stove enameled in black and ivory. He couldn't afford loads of chrome for reasons mentioned before, he had a two tone black and ivory studded seat which made it look great, but still yearned for lots of chrome. You still made a good job of yours though, happy motorcycling P.S I have a 2002 Bonneville America in black and silver from new and guess what it has lot's of chrome on it lovely jubbly
